The product itself is great but the problem lies with the packaging which is category 7 in plastics, this means it contains BPA which is a known estrogen mimicker and can seriously effect the quality of your eggs - the very thing I am trying to improve with the powder. Therefore this product is unusable. Prefer Jarrows ### ⭐⭐⭐ Use with caution *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 March 2014* I felt compelled to write this review after my experience of only three doses. Firstly I would like to say that this review does not reflect the product itself. (Although I have nothing to compare it to apart from a lot of experience with supplements in general.) I'm sure the actual Inositol powder is very comparable to other makes and if you know you do not experience any side effects with Inositol then I have no problems in recommending you try this brand. I started on 1/2 tea spoon twice a day and after the second dose I started to get chest pain and palpitations. I still took a third dose of again 1/2 teaspoon and this increased the frequency of the palpitations. I stopped after that and it has taken 5 days for the pain and palpitations to stop. I researched these symptoms and found they are linked to people who are allergic to Inositol. A very expensive mistake for me and hence would recommend starting with cheaper capsules to see if you suffer side effects before switching to powder.
