Awesome product! so easy to use
Foobot is super easy to install and use. It measures air quality based upon 2 metrics: particulate matter (PM 2.5), volatile compounds (VOC). It also gives you a reading on CO2 but as they say this is worked out from the other readings and a formula so I don’t really pay attention to this. The readings though are compared to WHO’s safety levels so if anything goes out of bounds..Alarm! Literally. Foobot gets angry and it starts glowing in orange, just like the screen on your app. I have noticed that there are 6 diferent levels for each colour: 3 for blue and three for orange. They start at the brightest blue and go down until the brightest orange. Believe when I say you will notice the difference. At first I used to ignore the warnings. But now, I always use the option to enter the cause for every spike. It’s like a social media stuff. You do something, like spraying some parfum on your shirt and it gets crazy (WTF!), so I go and make a note on the Foobot app.My lifestyle has changed. I vacuum and clean more frequently, and I do it the right way, with the windows open. All because I understand how VOCs and particulate matter affect my health. Results: I feel much more energized as I get deeper and more restoring sleeps.

Honest Review - Make Sure it is Compatible
Foobot looks great, however comes with some major flaws that are not detailed on the box or in the description. Firstly it has to operate on a 2.4 Ghz wifi, most routers are now 5Ghz so you have to have dual band so make sure you have this before buying as it won't work. The email service is good and they do try to help, however to try and get the product to work requires a lot of technical knowledge if it Foobot fails to connect automatically to 2.4 Ghz. I tried over three days with email support to get it going and in the end gave up and have sent them back for a full refund. Also be aware that it does take six days to set up, in this time you cannot change any settings such as the blue light glow or see any readings so the app does not work for six days. The blue light is bright and if you set this up in your bedroom you will struggle to sleep until such time as the six days is up and then you can change the settings to dim the light.Overall, i am disappointed as i thought this would be a great product and i like the description of what it does, however it is expensive and if it isn't compatible, then it just becomes and expensive blue light. All i can suggest is that you really check this out before you buy the product, it is very frustrating and there is no way of telling whether you actually have it set up correctly or not as it doesn't tell you, even though it all seems as if it is working correctly. The only reason i know this is because i had sent and received several emails and they had to check at their end that it was set up correctly, they kept informing me that it was not connected and would not work, even though there is no way of you knowing this from the product itself.I am not a technical person overall, although i do have some knowledge and i feel that this product lets itself down badly with a few specification errors that could easily be put right, such as the altering of settings during the six day period and making it compatible with 5 Ghz, although i am sure there will be a technical reason for this. This is just my view point and may be completely different for others and i hope it is, as the product itself does look good and if you can get it to work, i am sure it will be amazing, unfortunately, it just didn't work for me.

Great, very informative product and quite smart looking
Great, very informative product and quite smart looking. Lights very clear and easy to spot if air quality reduces, and you can lower them at night. My only observation is that if you want to move it once set up, to elsewhere in the room or to another room in the property, it quite often loses connection with the router (and we only live in a flat) and then you have to do the wi-fi set up all over again, which is a bit annoying. Other than that irritant, I would have given it 5 stars.

It’s ok, hard to relate readings to causes and WiFi is very unreliable
Does provide some comfort that our air is generally ok, it’s hard to understand what causes large spikes in volatiles or particulates though. So not sure it’s helping improve our air quality. The WiFi reliability is poor, drops every few days and is a pain to re-connect.
