What I Love: Ease of Use: Simply spray it on wet or dry hair, and within seconds, you can easily comb through knots. No need for tugging or pulling—it's like the tangles just disappear! Gentle and Lightweight: The formula is lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh down your hair or leave it greasy. It keeps your hair feeling soft and manageable without any sticky residue. Pleasant Smell: Some detanglers have a strong chemical smell, but this one has a mild, fresh scent that isn’t overpowering at all. Versatile: Not only is it great for kids who hate having their hair brushed, but I also use it on my own hair to manage tangles and knots. It works exceptionally well on all hair types, including thick and curly hair. Added Shine: After using it, I’ve noticed my hair has a healthy, natural shine to it. It leaves the hair smooth, shiny, and looking vibrant. What Could Be Better: The only downside for me is the size of the bottle. I will always love this, forever and always :) It is by far the best detangler on the market. I've used it for many years and really hope it never gets discontinued :( It has a very subtle scent, a good misting effect and it works brilliantly. I use it every time I wash my hair, followed by a serum and it is always softening and my hair always detangles nicely with no pulling and limited hair loss. Amazing stuff, highly recommended to everyone with hair :)

This stuff is amazing! My daughter has sensory issues and hates her hair being brushed, it’s a constant battle. Her hair gets very knotty because it’s long, we started using this and it is incredible. The brush glides through, I’m not going to say there are no knots still but if there is a tangle then it comes out so much easier than before. Not only this but it styles well, and the next day if it hasn’t been washed out her hair is still very soft and not half as tangled as before! I find I am able to just run my fingers through her hair rather than a full on brush throughout the day. She loves it because it no longer hurts her to have her hair done. Also, wasn’t expecting such a large bottle for a good price!

Not the most pleasant of smells- I wouldn't say it's offensive or nasty, but it's not something you would comment positively about. For this alone, have knocked a star off. That said, it's a decent sized bottle for the price and will last me a while. The product itself is great. It sprays a nice fine mist for even coverage, coats my hair nicely without leaving stickiness or residue. I can get a hair brush through any tangles with ease and without pulling - which is a breakthrough on my long, fine hair which is prone to becoming one giant knot after being washed. This works well for me. Just a shame the smell isn't quite what you'd want from a haircare product. If that could be improved, it would be 5 stars. Worth noting that the smell doesn't linger, so it's not like you get wafts of it throughout the day. As soon as I've dried my hair, the scent has gone.

I absolutely love this Mane & Tail Detangler Spray! It works wonders on my hair — no more painful knots or breakage, and it leaves my hair super soft, smooth, and shiny. Ok so it doesn’t detangle on its own. No product can do that. BUT it softens my dog’s hair INSANELY well so you can then brush your dog easily. I was amazed. It softens it better than if I had washed and used the best conditioner. It’s that good. It smells divine. It’s a sort of baby powder smell but more refined. Smells expensive that’s what it smells like lol. I tried other sprays but nothing is as good as this one. DO NOT spray directly on your dog. The fine mist spray means a lot of it is lost in the air and as I later discovered it made the hardwood floor under my dog VERY slippery. So spray generously in your hands and then apply everywhere on your dog’s hair. I won’t buy anything else again. Thank you.

My daughter lives a very active lifestyle, and has very long and thick hair. It's brushed and braided at least twice a day, every day, without fail. It still gets tangled to hell. Brushing NEEDS to happen under the influence of a detangling spray. We've tried many. This was the most recent, and it's like magic. Tangles just fall out of the hair. Knots are much easier. It's turned her hair from a tangle of brambles into co-operative strands of silk. Genuinely amazing stuff.

I was looking for a strong detangler for my thick curly hair. Due to work, I have to keep my hair tied every day so you can imagine what my hair can look like on wash day, it’s more of a nest, as If I didn’t wash/brush my hair for a month. Along with this detangler I also bought a detangler brush to see if both would help me not spend an hour in tears contemplating shaving all my hair every single week. First use, along with the new brush, made my life so much easier, no pulling, no pain, no tears!! It was amazing. Although I was pretty happy I did read on the bottle DO NOT RINSE and was confused. My hair routine is usually: shampoo twice, conditioner, then leave in mask and curling cream. So I didn’t use conditioner and just did shampoo twice and usual curling products at the end. This week I washed my hair and it was really bad, as in, my hair was unbelievably knotty and nesty again which was worse than all the other times and was really shocked. How I am supposed to use conditioner after the detangler if I can’t rinse it afterwards? I did the same this week and next week will try use conditioner and rinse everything off and see if it makes a difference. Overall, good product and helped me survive 2 wash days with no tears.

I wish that I could give this product a 10/10 rating instead!! I LOVE ❤️ this stuff!!! I tried expensive sprays and treatments before and I was still pulling out hair while trying to comb thru. A few sprays of this and a quick work thru my hair and I can use my fingers to "comb thru" instead of anything else. Mininul hair loss compared to before I used this product! I Definitely Recommend!! 😁💕

A great product, exactly as advertised. Family favorite too. It has been around for a long time, so it is a trusted product. Use sparingly and work gently through the hair.
