Absolute delicious: good flavour and not roasted to death, peeled, not salted. Way better than what I had from supermarkets or discounters. According to the label the nuts are from Turkey, good source for hazelnuts. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.

These seem to be a bit oily or greasy, as though they were roasted in oil. I'd prefer dry roasted. The flavor is okay, though I've had better.

I have bought hazelnuts from Buywholefoodsonline.co.uk several times before so have been generally happy. The previous batch I had, some of the hazelnuts were not roasted enough and had that bitter taste you get when you get a bad one. This batch I got now, end of February 2018, is close to inedible. I have not had any bitter ones yet, but the nuts are quite floury. I can be a bit allergic to nuts if they are not roasted in that my throat and mouth itch when eating raw nuts. I have this feeling from these nuts now. They are roasted and I do not think that it is that they are not roasted enough, they are just very bad quality. Before it used to be a taped shut packaging, now it is a sealed bag so seems maybe they have grown and become more professional, but that has not been for the better. Such a shame as the product used to be good.

So easy to add a few roasted hazelnuts to a dish without all the faff of roasting and skinning them oneself! I'm all for convenience when I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen and these are really convenient.
