Fashion Illustration Techniques: A Super Reference Book for Beginners

I purchased this book used on the 12/7, and it arrived today, the 11th! It was a nice surprise because it was coming from NY, and I live in CA. Not only was the shipping fast, but I skimmed through the book & it looks AMAZING! I found out about from Evelina Barry, famous YouTube fashionista. She said it's her favorite fashion sketching book & I hope to use it soon!

This book is the expand version of "Fashion Design Techniques" by the same author. It offers 4 weeks course, a intensive road to master fashion figure drawing. I really like this one but it focuses on female figure only. It would be perfect, if it includes how to draw a male figure.

I bought this item as a gift for a friend. She is a 17 year old who plans on studying fashion design after she graduates high school. In my opinion, this is an excellent book for budding designers hoping to learn the basic tools of the trade.

If you want to learn how to draw female figure and garments this book is going to be very helpful for you. It contains very detailed step by step instructions. I love it!

The best of the best

I don't feel that this book is good for beginners, but instead better suited for novices. I find it especially difficult to use because the paper size that the measurements are used for in the book are different than the size paper that I have. However I do like the poses that are available, the angles of the faces, and the coloring section.

This was really interesting and fun to do. I just wish I had done something like years ago but apparently it was not meant to be...

This book is great! I am an artist and the book illustrates great tips for both fashion designers as well as artists.

El libro es muy bueno. Las explicaciones son en inglés pero tienes todos los pasos a paso con imagenes. Además, el libro viene organizado para que aprendas los conocimientos en 4 semanas.

So I got this book from my local library after doing a search of the best fashion illustration guides. I realized it needs to be a permanent part of my collection so I can use it everyday as a reference and to continue learning after just a week of using it!I ordered it from Amazon and got it within TWO days! So ridiculous and I used free super saver shipping since I also ordered something else. Definitely satisfied with Amazon's service and the quality of the book!A MUST-BY!

It is an amazing book. What disappointed me is that after i place the order the same book was available for lesser price the very next day from the same seller.
