These are cool and easy to use, at least the cubes are. The spheres are more trouble than they are worth, in my opinion. But the biggest downside is the weird taste they give the ice cubes. It isn't very noticeable in alcohol, but in water it makes it almost undrinkable. Tried washing them and it did not help.

These trays are flat out just ok. Do they make ice? Yes. If that's your only concern, then youre likely to be happy. Frankly, youre spending too much just to make ice. I am fortunate enough to have reverse osmosis drinking water, so I use it for filtered ice. I was expecting that the quality of ice would be on par with commercial grade cubes. Frankly, its not. Fortunately, the ice does form without cracking. However, the drawback is that it melts at the same rate of regular ice trays. The squares are far superior to the balls. Please clarify that the balls are measured by circumference, not diameter. These balls are small. If you are looking for a large 4" ball, look elsewhere. I would say that the cube measure equally in size to the balls. If they melted more slowly, these would be a much better product. I just dont see a big difference compared to regular ice, so for 10.99 it just doesnt quiet make sense.

I used this product to freeze high quality brown sauce in cubes that are easy to make and to remove from the tray. The resulting frozen blocks are the correct size to put into plastic bag in the freezer and permit easy defrosting of a sauce that can be easily moved from freezer to the table. Perfect size. Easy to fill up the tray, then freeze, and easy to remove from the tray without defrosting or going to any special steps to warm up. Fantastic way to store sauce in manageable sizes.

I love the larger size cubes!The ball cubes are a little trickier to fill. I found that using a small measuring cup with a pour spout works really well. Also, if you’re a perfectionist, using a straw to move water from a glass to the cube’s fill hole works 😊

My husband wanted these for his whiskey. Slightly difficult to figure out how to fill the ball one without making too much of a mess but with a little trial and error I think we figured it out. Easy to remove a d he uses them all the time. Cubes fit perfect in a standard whiskey glass

Instructions included on how the hell I'm supposed to make these ball ice cubes would be great. The square ones are pretty self-explanatory. Waste of money I wouldn't buy again

I’ve always enjoyed a drink in a fine restaurant with a large block of ice. When I came across this on Amazon, I was excited to be able to do the same in the privacy of my own home. They are exactly as described and very easy to use. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I like the square tray but the round one is a little harder to use. The mold doesn’t stay together without tying it up with rubber bands. The design is flawed in more ways than one.
