I have only had this product 1 day and I was up at the crack of dawn to get it back on again! There is a lot you can do with this machine, a lot of them you cannot try out as silhouette has not released the additional products! So far I am loving this little beast. It is a tad on the bulky side, makes my faithful portrait lost looking so you will need space! I will point out that this is NOT a replacement for the cameo or portrait, call it whatever you like but they are like soulmates. So please don't ditch your cameo or portrait, you will regret it! I had a play around with the embossing features and used that with sketch pens, you can achieve full coloured images :) So this now leaves me thinking do I need the new silhouette mint when it comes out? I personally dont think so. You can decide ;) I would recommend if you own a silhouette product to get this addition added to your craft room you will not be disappointed.

I am obsessed!!! My husband purchased this for my birthday, I’ve been a very big fan of Silhouette for 2 years now, started with the portrait, then the cameo, then the cameo 3, so I already knew the software very well. I jumped straight in with engraving, acrylic, aluminium, and stainless steel. The quality and tiny tiny detail it can achieve is phenomenal. It’s not something I will use for cutting vinyl as I would use the cameo for that given I can cut much larger on that. I was a bit disappointed before it arrived that you have to buy the larger base separate BUT I’ve come to realise I don’t actually need a larger base, everything I’ve wanted to engrave I’ve managed perfectly well on the base that came with it. I highly recommend this machine, honestly you will love it!

Ive had a cameo 2 for a few years and have actually managed to learn the software but always wished I could embossThis really is an awesome machineAnd the embossing feature works quite well although if you cut out a stencil of the shape to be embossed place it underneath you get a really deep crisp patent very much like if you used a folderYou can also print and emboss /cut

The annoying thing with this is there is no standard A4 matt supplied only a much smaller one so you can't do any A4 size stuff without buying another matt which cost another £34 not impressed with this it should have been included as A4 is the standard size.With a few hours practice it becomes easy to do stuff but you got to have patience and practice with it a bit first. Best way is to study some tuition videos and see what goes on. Be prepared to make mistakes as you go along the way and learn from them. As for printing and cutting out the possibilities are endless. Also to help you get off to a flying start is countless amounts of template projects. There is a download service too where you can download loads of templates etc. Before buying you do need a lot of patience to get going with cutting.

Great Product, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing the product. It is a well built and easy to use piece of equipment.One think I can say is to be careful with the cutting blades provided. One wrong turn can jam the blade, maybe it’s just me being heavy handed. Just a word of advice.

Being the owner of the cameo. Thought i would treat myself to the curio. I had a little go with some silhoutte embossing paper and it did it well. I will not be able to put it through its paces until next week i will then update my review

Reseñando después de 1 semana de uso.Después de batallar un poco, finalmente logre instalar la actualización del software para 64 bits, ya que no lograba encontrar la pagina oficial en ingles de la marca. Una vez ahí en la opción de soporte puedes encontrar el parche para utilizar el programa en OS Catalina o Windows 10 de 64 bits. La descarga es muy ligera y el programa corre sin ningún contratiempo. El cortador es bastante bueno, si lo quieres para hacer cortes de gran formato este no te sirve ya que el pad es únicamente de 8 x 6.5 pulgadas. Para lo cual te recomendaría la Cameo 4. En el programa puedes ajustar la cantidad de pases y presión para hacer los cortes, así como la velocidad. Aunque todavía no logro conocer el uso de todas las funciones me ha funcionado para hacer lo que necesitaba.Hola, estuve esperando la cortadora con mucha expectativa. Hasta que al momento de instalar el software, no me permitió abrirlo. Resulta que el programa es de 32 bits, y eso va a ser un problema si usas Mac OS, ya que a partir de Catalina únicamente puede abrir programas de 64.

Era una Vita che volevo questo plotter, e finalmente son riuscita a acquistarlo.E un ottimo prodotto, come potete vedere nelle imaggini fa il suo.E completto, compatto, facile da utilizare anche se non hai sperienza. Viene con il suo manuale e CD per la instalazione.Lo utilizzo a casa pero fare lavori su vinile per tessuti, veramente ottimo! Consigliato

It is quite rigid, and can apply pretty good force (210g) for embossing etc.Two small complaints - a software bug with Silhouette Studio: if the artwork overlaps the area between the registration marks, the machine will mis-cut everything by about 3mm. If you crop that part of the artwork, it will cut everything correctly. It shows the same cuts being made in the software either way.2nd - there is no obvious "getting started" info. You end up watching a mish mash of videos on the internet if you're curious how the features work.That said, it's pretty easy to get going, and it cuts and embosses well.

Cela fait un bout de temps que j’hésitais à faire cet achat, je ne suis vraiment pas déçue. Vivement que je la maîtrise parfaitement

I’m mainly using this to cut vinyl and so far it has been great. There was a small glitch in the packaging where the manual description about the software didn’t match the bundled software. (Which was rather critical since it was about cutter setting) This turned out to be an older version of the software that came with it, and a fresh download of the latest solved it. The print manual isn’t very useful but the operation itself is fairly straightforward once you figure it out.
