This device is made with heat resistant silicon for the Macbook power cord. It prevents the cord from fraying. How does it do that? It secures itself around the block of the power cord and supplies it with the necessary support through a stress relief attached to it that protects the very spot that is notorious for fraying and keeps it from fraying. The Fray Fix Works easily with ALL the connection heads for the Magsafe power cords. Including the Magsafe 2 connector head.

Great solution to avoid frays
Took a bit of doing to get it in place. I found a video for help with that. It fits perfectly and looks good. I purchased one for a friend. She too is very pleased with it.

It was misleading when you say The Fray Fix for ...
It was misleading when you say The Fray Fix for a macbook pro charger but it only comes with the part for one end, I assume it means a fix for the ENTIRE charger, it would be more honest if you explicitly state that it DOES NOT come with A fray fix for both ends of the charger, now I just paid extra $ for the combo pack and have this for no reason

It's a nice snug fit and at first seems awkward to slip ...
I've had three apple power cords fray at the exact location this product protects. It's a nice snug fit and at first seems awkward to slip down the actual cord, but the process was surprisingly easy and really took a total of less than five minutes. I highly recommend it.
