MagFlex® A4 Flexible Magnetic Sheet - Matt White (1 Sheet)

The white surface is PVC and non-magnetic. The dark-side is the magnetic side. The sheet can easily be cut using a sharp-knife or scissors. Alternatively, after scoring through the coloured side it can be torn apart by hand. The sheets stick well to a magnetic whiteboard or to the sides of a steel filing cabinet.The white surface can be written on with a marker pen or with a white-board "wipe-off" pen, and if a "wipe-off" pen is used the ink can, indeed, be wiped off the magnetic sheet.The sheets are sufficiently flexible that they could be wrapped around a cylinder that had a diameter of about two inches. You'll only get the sheet to bend along one axis so you couldn't wrap the sheet around a sphere or have it cling neatly to an undulating surface.I used the sheets to make representations of furniture at 1:20 scale and, having drawn an outline of the room on a magnetic whiteboard, was able to quickly try out different furniture arrangements. This method was much better than using cardboard representations because the "furniture" stayed where it was put and the floor-plan could be mounted vertically on the wall rather than having to lay it out flat on a table. Using magnetic sheet was probably faster and simpler than doing the floor plans with computer drafting software.The sheet could also be used for making a small white board on the side of, for example, a filing cabinet. Similarly it could be used for making temporary labels for steel filing cabinet drawers.

Overall quite good and it does what it says it does. I would have liked the white side to be magnetic as it is easier to see dark screws on a white background. Not super magnetic but hold screws firmly

It is not a strong magnet, tried to use it as a screw holder when repairing a phone but it wasn’t really up to the job even using the black side. So if that’s your intended use then I would look elsewhere.The item itself is well made for what it is

Perchased to use as a screw mat when taking thing's apartWork's well just a pity the Whiteside is not magnetic otherwise great idea.

This is just the job for keeping all the screws etc. in the right place when repairing smartphones and tablets. Just make an A4 sized template of the internals of the device, tape it onto the Magnetic Sheet and it'll keep everything in order. So good that I bought a second the same day as I used the first... to give to someone as a really inexpensive but valuable present!
