Antronix Filter, GLF-1002 MoCA "POE" Filter for Cable TV Coaxial Networking ONLY

Worked as described. Use this to prevent signal interference with my MOCA 2.5 Gbps adapters. Most reviews you see here that say they blocked their internet or service do not understand networking or their functionality. Easy to install and improve the signal interference. I had installed my MOCA adapters without adding it to the main line from the ISP and saw a loss of 50 mbps. After installing it’s able to stop my signal from leaking out and redirecting back into my home resulting in full signal strength. I’d reccomend you also install the correct splitters for MOCA. Got some for 2666 mhz two way splitters and it worked.

I bought this device for use with a MoCA adapter. You simply install it where cable enters the home and before the signal is split. You may already have one installed by you cable provider, and should be easy to spot. They might even install one for free if you do not have it. But you do need a filter to prevent others in your neighborhood from receiving your MoCA signal. UPDATE: This is the wrong adaptor for internet use. It is for TV only and will block the broadband cable signal. Comcast had to replace this product with a different filter. The description is misleading.

Must have for any DVR and modem splitter! I’m really glad I learned for a cable tech that these filters dramatically improve the signal quality and help prevent data leakage. When I moved to another state and used a new provider, I asked when I picked up my DVR if they provided MoCA filters and he had no clue what it was. Much better signal quality since implementing, should be included by all providers and a requirement for anyone who has a DVR in their ecosystem.

My wife and play on our Xbox's and it was just unbearable. We'd get kicked out of matches and penalized. I'd have my pc up doing a continuous ping to Google and we'd lose anywhere from 2-10 packets at a time. I live on a 1/2 acre in a 1970s development. We worked with the local ISP and they replaced the Coax from the house to the pole, the modem, ran all kinds of tests and still could not get the 1,000 down/100 up. We'd hit about 800 down/15 up at best. Spoke to a buddy about it and he suggested a MoCA filter. Took a week to get here but just installed it this morning. Wow! I've been running packet loss tests and they come back clean Awesome!!!
