These are amazingly effective, given their size. If you're worried about your contactless cards being sniffed, give these a go.I purchased on a whim, and tried them out with some standard nfc readers knocking about my lab. Not a single card could be read once in the sleeves.I don't have any readers capable of reading at more than a cm distance, but I'm confident these sleeves would work in any scenario to nullify radio sniffing.

Great design and they work very well. Tried using some NFC cards to no avail, so very pleased with that.They also just fit in my wallet, and its very easy to take my card out and put it back in again, without the sleeves popping out which for me is splendid. I can definitely recommend this, even gave 2 to my colleague

Firstly I must say how quickly these were sent to me, very impressed. Also, the follow up email from Alpine Rivers was a nice touch, very friendly which showed they are a family run business and take a genuine interest of their customers.As for the product. I was pleased to receive 4 passport holders, I have given two to our son and his new bride. I will be using ours this year. The nature of the product you won't really know if they work because they are designed to stop ID theft. I have every confidence that these products will keep our identity etc safe.It was also great to receive so many card holders..can never have too many of these.Would I recommend this product.......yes, in fact I will be purchasing another set abit later as a gift to our son and new daughter-in-law.Thank you Alpine Rivers for a great product and friendly service.

Yippee … Yes Alpine Rivers ‘RFID Blocking Sleeve’ credit card covers really do work – I tried to use a contactless card reader with the cover still on my card and I was very pleased to find the machine couldn’t read my card!!! Having used credit card protectors for a couple of years now I was looking for replacements as my old ones that were falling apart (old style thin silver ones) so I thought I would try these - They are made of a ‘plastic’ feeling material – The covers themselves are a snug fit for my cards but I presume they will ‘give a little’ with use – From a female point of view though I have to say I struggle to get the card out of the cover when it’s in the card slot of my purse as it’s such a tight fit (as they are such a good product I may have to source a new purse instead!!) I also got the passport covers but haven’t had chance to try them out whilst travelling yet – Overall an excellent product giving peace of mind from a security point of view – Great value for money – would recommend

I have used credit card protectors for a couple of years now. My last ones were fine but were falling apart so I ordered these as a replacement. I’m really happy with them. They are not cardboard like my last ones...more a sort of plastic. The thing I really like is they fit in my credit card holder in my purse much better and they are easier to get out. You get 14 credit card holders and four passport sleeves. I know they work because I’ve tested them in my local shop. Very happy with this purchase and nice to have peace of mind that I’m not being fleeced.

These actually work perfectly and raised a few eyebrows when used. People actually asked what they were for and most were completely shocked that contactless (rfid, nfc) was so vulnerable.I tested them with the NFC (near field communication) feature of my phone. In the sleeve, the cards could not be detected or read but out of the sleeves, the nfc feature detected and scanned my card instantly.These sleeves fit just perfectly. Not too tight to extract the card but not to loose to allow cards to fall out.The same positive result with our new passports I'm pleased to say.

I've been trying to find something like these for a while so was very pleased to find them. Tried one out in my local supermarket and the my bank card was definitely shielded until I removed it from the sleeve. I'll be sharing them out with the family as there are more than enough for me. I like how they are colour coded too. I have been asked by other customers in the supermarket queue where they can be bought so was pleased to recommend these on Amazon.

Please note that this review is my own opinion.Bought this product for my daughter for her contactless cards. So I can say that there are another two people who are very satisfied with this product and recommend it as something that's really needed by anybody with contactless cards.Don't believe what your bank tells you these cards are not safe.
