Worked perfectly, transferred images to my computer from my camera SD card without any issue.

I needed this to use a micro SD card in my mac and it is fine. My cameras use full size SD cards and it will be good for those as well. Left on my mmac now and saves me having to get to the back of it.

My old laptop has an SD card reader but my new one doesn't and I have lots of photos that I constantly need to transfer from SD cards to my laptop, so I decided to get this card reader in the hopes I could stick with my newer laptop when working on photos nowadays. The card reader is small and works straight out of the box. You don't even need to read anything, just plug and go into any usb socket on your computer/laptop. As soon as you plug it into a usb socket you can also push any SD card into the slot. It has a space for a TF card too (a mini SD card in case you don't know what it is!) though I've only so far tried using the SD card slot. My computer instantly recognises the cards with no issues and I've found this easy to use and such a help for me when struggling to transfer old SD saves to my new laptop. However there is one problem I do have with this card reader and that's the length of the cable where it's plugged into the usb slot. While I dont need a huge lengthy cable, this one is so short and quite stiff that I can't push it behind the laptop or away from my immediate area where my mouse and notebook are (on the sides of my laptop) and it's annoying as the cable is so stiff itself that I can't even manipulate it to lie a different way. One time I plugged it into the side of my laptop usb port on the left when my laptop was on the edge of a table as I needed the right hand side for the mouse (I don't have any ports on the back) and it sort of hung there off the table which looked and was weird though it still worked despite that! Overall it's a good SD card reader, but the usb cable is definitely too short!!!

Does the job. Really small with multiple different slots for different cards. Plug and play. Fast reliable transfer.

The Card Reader seems robust and the SD card clips firmly into place, and it reads and writes without issue. As noted by another reviewer, the (captive) cable is a bit short and quite stiff but whilst irritating it's a minor issue. I've used Ugreen products before and found them reliable which is why I went for this device. Having taken delivery of the Card Reader, I realised why the integral laptop SD Card reader wasn't working and have fixed that. However, I'll keep the Ugreen device - it wasn't expensive and can go on my box of adaptors, just in case...

El lector funciona muy bien. Es pequeñito, y el único "pero" que le saco es que el cable USB-C con el que viene es muy corto. Pero vamos, que pesa muy poco, lo dejas colgando del ordenador o de donde sea y ya está. Le saqué unos 80MB/s al copiar datos desde una tarjeta V30 U3 al PC con el USB 3.0, osea que imagino que ese será el ratio máximo de descarga. Para descargar una sesión de fotografías de cámaras 24Mp y tal funciona muy bien, es suficientemente rápido a no ser que te hayas vuelto loco y hayas acumulado miles de millones de gigas en tus tarjetas.
