Bit of a grower but after a couple of listens liked it lots. Very minimal as you'd expect and some sublime stuff going on .Love the FUSE tracks and the best Simple Simon rendition ever . Simon says Get your phones on your head.......

Minimal deep and dark techno at it's very best from the man hawtins own label definitely worth a listen.

Deep, dark, hard and foreboding... like an army of giant robots marching over a mountain top, love it!

16 tracks all by Richie Hawtin, 8 disguises each slightly different in approach to the others.Others try to create minimal techno, most fail where Richie Hawtin creates atmosphere with tiny brush strokes.He's mastered the Roland TB303 -that acid squelch machine that Roland considered a failure- Richie here proves that machine is a musical instrument not just some plastic box.To some people on just one listen dont get Richie Hawtin, I'd suggest a quiet place, a glass of your favourite tipple & headphones or a great sound system that can bring out both bass & treble well.All this & he was born in my hometown: Banbury, Oxfordshire, UK.
