Secure lid!!
This is THE best pressure cooker we have ever used.1. The lid is so secure-although the pan is round, the top opening is oval, so you insert the lid into the pan and the lid has a lip that sits inside.2. There is no water leakage, just steam. My other pressure cookers spewed water all over my stovetop, so I had to clean after each use.3. The pressure cooking is strong and steady.Love it! (I usually don’t write reviews but wanted to share this one).

Tiny
So small. I think you could just about get half a cauliflower in .. and the instructions give a list of things not to put in of which some (eg pearl barley) was what I wanted to put in! Not for me. Tiny. Looked smart and strong though.

First time Pressure cooker experience!
Ok, First time Pressure cooker User and I needed something to cook food fast, and with tasty results: So my review: First read the instructions and recipe book that comes with the cooker. I didn't, of course I'm a man and don't need these instructions - wrong. Took half an hour to realise I hadn't a clue how to open the thing, or then close it. Unhook the top lever from the handle, twist it to 90 degrees to the pot handle, wiggle it a little and it comes apart. By then I realised it was a good idea to learn how to cook with it and read the recipe book. Weighed and measured the ingredients and water as per the recipe book, you do need scales and a jug measure, do not second guess. Put the seal around the outside rim of the top, and put together back on from the 90 degree angle and twist to the pot handle and hook. Take the weight off the lid and put aside close by (not on the heat - it hurts when you pick it up), put pot on high heat, when steam starts to come out of the top nozzle, put the weight back on and wait! Within a couple of minutes, there will be a very loud hiss of escaping steam, at which the first time experienced can lead to requiring clean underwear. Turn the heat down to between medium to low, if too high, there will be another escape and whoosh, but don't worry, just turn the heat slightly lower. Important point, Cooking time starts from the first hiss escape of steam, do not over cook by even a couple of minutes, (you can experiment later if you want) stick to the recipe is recommended. Wait till the pot cools before attempting to open, do not take the weight off immediately before doing this, there is a loud escape of steam, plus liquid from the contents which make a mess of your cooking area, stove and any other pots, pans, plates etc. nearby, requiring cleaning - not that I would know this being a man who doesn't need to read the very clear instructions! The pot retains adequate heat to keep the food very hot after the excess pressure is out of the pot. My first meal ( a stew) was far tastier than spending eight hours in a slow cooker. Preparation start to plate was around 30 minutes. Used it several times since, (soups and stews) and not been disappointed once. Main Tips: Read the instructions, then re-read them, watch the video in the promo or on YouTube, get and use Kg/g scales and 500ml measuring jug (don't bother with cups of this and that, not accurate enough). There's enough safety precautions involved, even if you leave on the stove at high heat for a couple of hours not to explode, but will damage the pot inside through burning - it will not explode. Clean pot thoroughly ASAP after meal, baked on crud from previous meals can build up and especially around inner pot edge and will not allow seal to be effective to build pressure.

Does the job but it can be a bit awkward because of its shape.
Does brown rice in ten minutes. Easy & straight forward to use. Should have come with a spare gasket I think. You have to scoop products put of it and it's not the easiest to clean.

Good lightweight pressure cooker
I've read some fairly hysterical reviews about this product: lots of capital letters asking people not to buy it. It's totally fine, and - indeed - the Indian sub-continent practically lives on it! So, for the record, it's a little flimsy, a little tricky to clean and not that intuitively easy to use. But it does the job. It CAN be used on induction hobs, and halogen, and electric (and of course gas). The quantities are easy to work out if you look at the excellent book provided with the product. And for any fans of Indian food, the book is excellent! A real bonus. Bravo Hawkins! Great stuff!

Great little pressure cooker
All told I was a bit sceptical when I opened it as there’s no rubber ring. It works though and it’s great as it’s easier to cook our pugs meat for her meal. Makes meat really soft and moist . Definitely considering the bigger one.

All looks Good
Fast service the Pressure cooker looks good quality when unpacked . Instructions needed quite concentration but made sense in the end. Only reason not given full marks was that haven't used it in earnest yet. Size and quality looks perfect for my camping trip.
