Pillmate Pill Chest 7 Day Extra Large Multidose

This is the second one I have bought. The first last about 4 years then the catches holding the lids closed started to come off, rendering it difficult to cope with. The new one seems stronger so I'm hoping it last longer. I could not find any other make which holds the large number of pills I need.

Purchased for my mum they are already broken she thought they would be sturdier not very impressed

The pill chest certainly hold all my pills fine - getting them out is another matter. The front wall of each compartment really needs to slope so that you can draw the pills out from it. As it is they get wedged in the bottom and I have to use a pair of tweezers to get them out. It must be worse for anyone with arthritis in their hands. Other than that, I am happy with it, so much better than having everything in boxes. I just put it all together once a week and each time I am due tablets they are there ready. I used to have a small one but now that I need to take so much medication, only half the tablets fitted in, so this is much better. Just going to put next weeks together, ready for a week on holiday.

Good and sturdy for a while but there is a clear design flaw with the clips to fold the compartments closed - this will be what causes you to buy a replacement.

I have used a similar-looking pill organiser with the same name for years. That is the only thing in common with this pill organiser. I need almost of the compartments for my weeks prescription. I had opened fifteen of them and I had five broken lids. The hinge pins that hold the lids are snapping off with little pressure being applied to open them. The pillbox arrived and was returned for a refund within three hours. Very disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant. I already had one but needed another so I ordered the same again and this one is even stronger than the first one. If I need another I will buy the same one again.

ust what I needed but....ProsGood if you have mobility issues and have a myriad of medication to take everyday.Each day is marked and noted betadine morning, noon, evening and bed.ConsWhere the item is so big you can’t actually get the medication out which for disabled people is a nightmare. Perhaps the makers should follow how the other companies who make smaller versions with removable daily trays so you can pop the pills out easily ie you have a tray with 7 individual trays and inside that flick lids for morn, noon, eve and bed etc...... it’s just a suggestion. I have only marked down ease of use on this item because of the item being a little difficult to use if disabled.Other than that a fine product.

I ordered this thinking this would be the best one I had for a long time but it’s badly planned out which makes it very hard to get your tablets out, you turn it upside down and pray none of the other lids weren’t accidentally open. I am on roughly 30 tablets a day so you can imagine the mess that would cause. The other thing that is very annoying is it’s not made to not have things starting breaking and falling off. I have used this 10 days and I am very careful with stuff but one of the lids broke and the main plastic lid comes off every time I use it. So it’s a pity as perfect size but not robust enough
