Okay, bear with me for a few... I recently used this device for some very rare video opportunities. I got up at 3am to get to the beach before sunrise (twice) and tried to use this worthless crap. Each time, the WIFI button automatically turned on. The first time, this wore out my camera battery without my knowledge and when I got to the beach, the battery was dead. The second time, I ensured the camera was set up correct with full battery and was recording in video. When I got down to the beach (a long haul), I took one quick video and heard the correct three beeps, that tells me that the video is done. Then right before I get in the water at sunrise, I go to use the camera and only one beep. Since I'm wet, I go into the beach and try to open the camera housing to check the system and see what up... well, the stupid screw bolt is so close to the camera, I can't get it open and my car is twenty minutes away. Needless to say, I thought the camera may have switched to camera mode instead of video, so I go out and swim with the sharks, take a bunch of pictures (hearing the beep each time) and finally come in. Once I get to the car and dry off and open the camera, the stupid thing is going through the menu with each beep. I didn't get one effing picture! Piece of crap. Now, I'm going to file down the WIFI (interior) button, so this never happens again.WIFI button - Crap (who needs this anyways when in the water)Screw bolt so close to the camera housing - Crap... figure out a better wayMy advise, if you want good images (or any at all) find another alternative! Two nights wasted!

I got this for my old Gopro 4, and used it as a "second shooter" when snorkeling in indonesia. The day was overcast, so the photos aren't really colorful, but you can get an idea of what kind of shots are possible. I took about 50 shots (you shoot blindly with the Gopro 4) and about 10 of them turned out OK. Would try another version of this for my GoPro 6 - would work better with an LED screen camera so you can see what you're shooting.

The dome is water tight but slightly cumbersome to setup and use. I cannot rave about the shots that I took. Due to the sea conditions on my recent trip to the Bahamas I did not get the pictures that I wanted, the water was not clear and the sea was rough. I see the potential in this product, maybe some practice/familiarity can be gained in the bathtub or the local pool.

Works great. No leaks. Only con is you are unable to switch from record mode to picture mode without taking gopro completely out. This could be a problem if you were already in water and hands are wet. Good price!!

I bought this for my Thailand trip an it worked great! I would say the only downside is that you have to take out the gopro to turn it on and off but other then that I used it when we went snorkeling and the pictures turned out great. I would recommending keeping the lens cover on when you aren't using it to prevent scratching, and cleaning the dome after each use to your pictures still turn out nice and clear :)

Works great! Love everything about this dome lens. Took it on our cruise to Bahamas and worked great no leaking. A little bulky because we took the whole box with it for security so it doesn’t get smushed or cracked inside the luggage. Other than that no complaints.

Great product! Comes with a lot of extras and produces great underwater pictures
