10PC Microwave Bowls with Steam Vent Covers Bowl Set Pots Cooking Multicoloured

This is the second purchase I have made of these bowls. The primary advantage of them is the securely fitting lids which can be easily vented or not allowing foods to be saved fresher for longer in the fridge, with the ventilated lids closed. They also allow you to heat your foods in a microwave with the ventilated lids open allowing the steam to escape. Which in turn ensures foods such as porridge do not boil over causing the microwave to be cleaned. Another advantage is that you can serve the foods in the same dishes, (less washing up) whilst the temperature of the bowls do not get hot as with porcelain with the handles staying just temperate. The dishes are also very easy to wash because unlike porcelain no food sticks to the sides. One more advantage is that bowls can be stored inside each other saving on storage space. If you have elderly relatives or young children these bowls are a must!!

wanted one of these to make porridge in. Not one of them was the right size! Returned for refund.

The small one is really quite small not sure it will ever get used. Have cooked beans in the yellow one and it has stained.
