However, once you get the hang of it, it works well. The phone grip is good and tight, but still easy to get your phone in and out, and it can hold your phone steady at various angles without drooping. The remote operates your phone camera with no problems (I have an iPhone), and remembers the Bluetooth connection most of the time. It also powers itself down if you don’t use it for a while so it doesn’t matter if you forget to turn it off! The remote is easy to clip on and off its holder, and stays securely in place even if you’re folding it away in a hurry. The tripod is a useful bonus feature. It’s not the sturdiest of stands, as you might expect, and I would be wary of using it too close to a drop, particularly if there was a breeze, but it’s good enough for a quick snap on a calm day. The fact that it’s telescopic is a handy feature because you can vary the distance and height of your shots. The reason I’ve knocked off a star is because the tripod legs are quite difficult to unfold.
