Rubber Brush Hand Rubber Bristle Broom Pet Hair Removal Carpet Upholstery Lint Brush

I have had a rubber hand brush for many years. I bought it at the Ideal Home exhibition a good 15 years ago and it has worked very well at removing fluff and dirt from my carpets. I decided to buy a new one as the rubber teeth are beginning to wear a little. The new one is very sturdy and great at removing the fluff and dirt but the only negative for me is the handle is ribbed which makes it a little uncomfortable for me as my hands are very arthritic. My other brush had a straighter and smooth handle. I would however, recommend the product .

I was slightly disappointed with the fact that this is a relatively small brush (Just under 10" long, just under 2" wide and only 1" high), however, it does do the job and it does it well. If it were not for the size, this would definitely be a 5 star item. It certainly lifts up hair etc and, importantly, they do not stick in the brush bristles. Outside our house we have a large pampas grass bush and, spring and autumn times, the birds peck at the bush for nesting material and the residual mess we tread right through the house. This is the first brush that lifts the fine frond particles easily.Recommended

The rubber is moulded around a single shaft that runs down the length of the brush - and as soon as you try running along the carpet it twists and contorts as the rubber rotates around the shaft and you're left with something that looks more like a helter-skelter. The black rubber will also transfer onto the carpet - if you're brushing stairs for example be sure not to let the "nose" or tip of the bush (rounded end without any bristles or the flap) to not run against the vertical part of the step as it is akin to running a great big black crayon along the carpet. Difficult to shift and get rid of the marks it leaves behind.

This is a great brush for removing pet hair from furniture. I had cat hair everywhere and the Hoover wasn't good enough at removing it but the brush was great. Only downside is it doesn't collect the hair, the hair seems to gather in little balls of fluff that go everywhere. I had to use the brush then my Hoover to go over it. Worked great on the cushions though.

The first time I used the brush the rubber bristles started to fall off!I wouldn't advise anyone to buy this and mine is getting sent back asap! Imagine if I had kept using it, I'd have no bristles left after a few times!Update: I have been told that the brush is to be used flat only! It's supposed to be for furniture and car seats etc. I am not bothering sending it back as it will cost nearly as much as the brush itself did.It doesn't say anywhere that the brush is only to be used on flat surfaces - why would I want something that only did the seats and not the sides or backs of furniture? I bought it to clean my wheelchair seat and back but I'm only supposed to do the seat and then use something else for the back!

I bought a rubber pet hair broom on the recommendation from a friend and this came up in one of those "suggested items" and as I have a set of stairs to contend with, I thought why not!As soon as it arrived I tried it out on the stairs and whereas what used to be such an effort before balancing the vacuum cleaner on the stairs while trying to clean each step has no turned into a far easier event.Bundles up the pet hair quite nicely for easy collection by hand and as I have a semi long hair German Shepherd, I love this brush!!!Can't recomment this enough!

Works very well on bother clothing and furniture. I don't have a dgo but visit my daughter regularly and she does. I always get covered in dog hairs and so does my car seats.This clans everything up great.

Would be absolutely lost without my ever growing collection of rubber brushes! If you have animals, they are must ! Have one in every room, they are more effective than some hoovers I have owned. . Recommended, decent quality example
