Flashy wheels
Good wheels very flashy indeed but you really need to know what you are doing to fit them correctly

Sparkly
Slightly smaller than my ones on the skates. Did not matter as put the battery bit in the old wheel and it works great.

I really hope they are amazing when we finally get the new bearings and fit ...
We bought these wheels alongside a pair of Osprey adjustable quad skates, stated on Amazon as 'frequently purchased together'. Some reviews of the wheels said you need new bearings, others said you just use the bearings from your existing skate wheels, but I just wanted to clarify for anyone buying the same as us, these wheels and the Osprey skates are NOT compatible WITHOUT purchasing new bearings and it's just cost us another £20 for entry level bearings (for two sets of skates). I really hope they are amazing when we finally get the new bearings and fit the wheels, since they've now cost us close to a mortgage payment!

Super bright!
These wheels are really bright! Amazing at the roller disco and even bright enough to show up outside. Could have done with some instructions as it took me a while to realise that the little plastic bits that look like dummy bearings actually need to be sandwiched in between metal bearings on either side for the lights to work. Only drawback is the price - by the time you have bought 2 sets of wheels and 16 new bearings it costs almost as much as a new pair of light up skates, so it's worth seeing if you can reuse old bearings. Still giving them 5 stars for effectiveness!

Tight fit on axles. Wheels do not move freely.
I purchased to go with my daughter's Rio Roller Skates. However the hole in the of the magnetic "collars" (excuse the terminology as I do not know what they are technically called), which the axles go through are fractionally tighter that the metal "collar" that comes with the original wheels when I compare the 2. Thus this means that (after putting the bearings on), when you slide the wheel on you can feel it being very tight and this means the wheels do not turn as freely as the original wheels with the slights larger hole in the collar. It's even worse one you tighten up the nuts to the axles. A couple of the wheels just wouldn't turn. By "collar" I mean the part that sits in the middle of the wheel between the 2 bearings. The light up wheels have a plastic collar with and outer magnetic strip that makes the lights work. The collar on the original RIo wheels is a metal one. If you take both collars out and slide it onto the axle the plastic just gets stuck on the axle and you have to use some force to slide it along. Whereas the metal one just slides on simply a fractional more gap so it slides more freely and the wheels move freely.Another problem is if you have to ever change the bearings. Once I realised the collar issue, I had already fitted a set of Trixie bearings, so I had to remove them with a screw driver. I tried to be as careful as possible since the light up wheel's collar is made of plastic. I managed to get the bearing out of one wheel but found that part of the magnetic outer strip on the collar had broke off. I am presuming I caught the collar with my screw driver, and whilst trying to prise out the bearings I caught the collar and it rubbed against it plastic counter part in the wheel, and broke off that way.

Fantastic
I bought these for my 5yr old girls who is learning to roller skate. The order arrived within 48 hrs so great service form seller. The wheels although a little tricky to fit at first you get the hang of it. Once fitted I have to say they look amazing, my daughter absolutely loves them & she has been showing them off at her local roller disco. I've since ordered another set for my neice who had to have a pair.

DISAPPOINTED
Impressed with speedy delivery and overall appearance of wheels but as they were a Christmas gift not checked fully until the Big Day. What a disappointment for my 7yr old grandaughter. Apparently a ball bearing kit is required to attach wheels to skates. Fine, but why not inform at point of sale. The skates had previously been purchased from Amazon, so no excuse. Its always upsetting to see an unhappy child on Christmas Day !!!!!!!!!!!!
