Does it fit with any chair? My back rest is fairly think with no padded cushioning

If the back is straight it "should" fit but as it is though, it might not. My back panel is thick but also curved so it just won't gain traction and has instead been drilled into the chair. The holders are about 1-2 inches wide so if your back rest is thicker than that I'd sadly so no.
