A Good Foundation For A Career
Although like Hanson when they were first starting off, they sound like they're on helium, you can understand why they became such a sensation. Unlike some of the reality show stars of today, they have a natural propensity for vocals & harmony which is displayed with love for their craft. The song "When God Made You" blew me away (despite my aversion to organised religion), it's not the content it's the delivery, mastery & sheer confidence in their talent. It's just a pity they only went on to make a a couple of albums, because by the time of Submodalities, they were shaping up to be quite gifted & interesting musicians. Possibly because of Record Company disinterest, I'm not sure the reason for discontinuing as a group, had they gone down the same route as Hanson, self labelling and releasing, they would still be reasonably strong in these modern times.
