(There is a difference)** A: It reacts with hot toner - i.e. it sticks to a toner-printed area, while passing the printed paper/cardstock through a hot laminator. It might work also with a glue, but I haven't tried that technique yet. **Q: Does this work with cricut foil transfer kit?** A: It says it works with the hot pen things but it doesn’t I believe it’s meant for For the laser printer and laminator. I wouldn’t waste your money. I’ve had good results with we are memory keeper foils **Q: Can this be used with hot foil machine** A: Yes it's designed for the use of hot foil machine, I use this with my minc **Q: would it work directly on embossed surface without putting through the machine?** A: Yes I worked direct onto fabric and card nd the foil adheres. You have to wait for the adhesive to dry a bit first though. It has to be tacky, not wet when you rub the foil onto it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The quality of the foil is really excellent and I found I got a very consistent result *by J***Z on 20 July 2016* I bought this product from Amazon because they were selling it at the most competitive price. It was delivered in the usual Amazon style in a box far too large for the size of the product but extremely well packaged nonetheless. The quality of the foil is really excellent and I found I got a very consistent result, far better than that of a similar roll I bought from a well-known high street craft store. I repurchased because of this and will continue to buy from Amazon as and when I need more.I used the foil in a Heidi Swapp machine on setting 3 to foil some invitations printed on coated card. For info, I did also try it on printed paper with very patchy results but that is to be expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Foil and good price *by M***. on 27 June 2018* Great value for money compared to other brands, it does feel thinner but you get the same results. There is a good amount & when applying to a very smooth paper you will get a lovely cover and finish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Crafts *by D***N on 31 October 2020* I used this to make diy Christmas Cards and Birthday Cards. I used to heat press the foil onto the card with ink to make foil transfer cards. This foil looked really good, looked really shiny and high quality. The thickness needs to be improved though as it was really flimsy. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/48544064-first-edition-foil-transfer-sheets-copper-metallic-finish-works-paper](https://www.desertcart.be/products/48544064-first-edition-foil-transfer-sheets-copper-metallic-finish-works-paper) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
