Outlaw Black Studded Leather Safety Cat Collar

I have two cats, I bought them a collar each. They're eight months old. I fit the collars on both cats allowing room for two fingers underneath as is recommended by most collar fitting guidelines. The collars seemed like a good fit and looked great on the cats. Unfortunately within a couple of hours both cats had managed to get the collars trapped in their jaws like a gag. This caused them (and myself) quite a bit of distress. I had to physically cut the collars off with scissors to release the cats as they were panicking. The product has a bad well intentioned design with an elasticated loop allegedly as a safety feature. I believe it's the stretch of the loop that allows a cat to get their mouths caught in the collar. I feel like I've thrown my money down the drain and wouldn't recommend this for cat lovers.

Love these collars! A little large for my small cat.I like that they have an elastic part so it’s still a safety collar and I don’t have to compromise on having a nice leather one!
