Heavier than expected
Bigger and heavier than expected and the actual touchy feel parts weren’t as prominent as I was expecting. It’s still a lovely sensory book, and was enjoyed by the recipient.

Superb series of books - but, with this one there are large parts of every page that can be easily ripped off
We just LOVE these Ladybird books! They really are fantastic, with so many things to see and touch, that it will take a very long time before they become boring.Only thing about this one in particular, The Peekaboo, is that on every page there is a flap that is opened to reveal the hidden item. Our boy is 13 months and the first thing he did was try to rip off the flap :-( so.... we can't let him read it by himself which he loves to do.In a few of the other books in this series there are also bit's that can be easily ripped off - the elephant's trunk didn't last more than 10 seconds on the first read yesterday. Today he ripped off the bee's wings. I don't mind that so much as it's just a few little things in what are, overall, superb books. But this Peekaboo one wld be ruined in one if we left him on his own with it.

Lovely book, little one’s fave!
My little one adores this book. The colours and textures are lovely and quite a nice modern take on the lift-the-flap book. Only issue is she managed to rip a flap out 🤦🏻♀️

Lots of fun!
My little boy is 2 and still pulls this book out to play with now and again - we've had it since birth and it has taken a fair beating ( lots of flaps held on with sticky tape and prayers now!)The colours are lovely, the illustrations are nice & simple, and there are textures to keep interest as well.I would recommend.

Big, bright and with loads to look at
This book is a firm favourite with my 1-year-old. It's big, full of bright cartoons with a large flap to lift on every right-hand page and loads of other textures to explore. The words are sometimes a little odd, they don't really flow as a story from page to page as such, but that's really not worth deducting a star for. I love the style of the artwork and the colours used throughout really call baby's attention.

Developmental aid and fun!
A 20 month old boy with global development diagnosis absolutely loved this book. The first book that he has 'managed' by himself. Strong, bright pages.
