U-Step Umbrellas Outdoor Red

Nice, lightweight umbrella to take to youth sporting events. Not sure yet how long it will hold up, but time will tell.UPDATE: After about 8 uses, one of the two spikes that hold the umbrella into the ground broke it's weld. Without both spikes, the umbrella doesn't work as intended. Will look to see if I can find someone locally who can repair this. If not for this issue, I liked the product.

"The first day I went to use this, the prongs at the bottom broke off, it was as though they were rotted out or rusted from the inside. The thing is pretty much useless and I never even used it. Since it sat in the back of my car waiting for the first day of soccer season for a few months, it was too late to return. Pretty disappointing."Above was my initial review. The owner of the company say this review and sent out a new umbrella to me automatically. I have used it a few times now and it works great. Obviously, there was some type of problem with the prongs as I am not the only one who had this experience but I think that now the owner is aware of it, it won't happen again. This is the easiest to use umbrella I have had for sports, the others are too complicated and the parts break easily. I would definitely recommend this product and the company.

Great, portable, lightweight umbrella. We bring it to little league baseball games and it's a lifesaver from the brutal sun. The step spike is super handy so you don't need to bring a rubber mallet like other umbrellas. I wish the umbrella was a bit bigger (only reason i'm giving 4 stars), but all in all it's a great umbrella for kids sports, lunch in parks, etc.

We like this umbrella. The U-step anchor is convenient to use and works well at the beach.The U-step anchor broke off clean at the point where it attaches to the bottom of the pole the 7th or 8th time we used the umbrella, however the seller sent us a replacement free of charge.It's refreshing to see a vendor that stands by their product.

The bar that sticks down in the ground broke off the very first time we used it.

Okay, all I can say is, "wow". This item outperformed my expectations. It slides right into the ground with very little effort and comes out the same way. I've loaned this to a couple of friends and they all ask where they can get one after they've used it. I guess that broken fork thing must have been a big enough issue that they finally addressed it because mine came looking very sturdy with no signs of possible breakage. I'm still being careful putting it in and taking it out but even if it only last me a season, it was well worth the money spent.

Umbrella arrived very quickly, it arrived as it was described, and it was very easy to use! It came with its own carrying case and all parts fit neatly into the case! I was able to quickly assemble it and watched my children play soccer in comfort! At the end of the game it folded up just as quickly and neatly to fit back into its carrying case!

This umbrella is quite nice. It is sturdy and covers a good area. It is easy to set up and store away.
