HEC Compucase Cougar Spike Micro ATX Case

I was looking for a Micro ATX case for a new Ryzen PC build and chose this one for its looks and small size. The quality of the case is pretty good but one of the hard drive clips broke off when I tried to open it the wrong way :). The case was very cramped especially when trying to get my motherboard into the case between the rear fan and hard drive cage but there's just enough room. I installed 3 Akasa Piranha fans and a GTX 1050 Graphics Card with a little room to spare but cables are everywhere even with a modular power supply. Most of the cables are fed through the hole in the hard drive cage as there is nowhere else to keep them tidy. It was very awkward connecting the side panel fan connector to the motherboard with little room for access through the other side. Next time I will buy a bigger case I think. My Ryzen 1600 idles at 29C and at most its gotten up to 50C or so while doing some tests and gaming. Good on a budget but a little cramped and nowhere to store cables.

Very good looking case, cable management was okay with a large space behind the hard-drive but no room behind mother board for cable management and also meaning having to take out when installing larger CPU heat syncs. Exhausted fan is a bit slow so would recommend using as an intake fan and getting a £6 cooler mater fan for the exhausted to keep positive pressure inside the case to keep it cleaner but not a problem unless using dedicated graphics card. Amazing room for CPU cooler (curantly using Cooler master hyper 212) which is great for a large overclock. Only micro ATX case I could solidly recommend!

Excellent value for money, the included 120mm fan is so quite you hardly know its on and there is also quick release tabs fro the hard drive. The only down side is the rest for the power supply is a bit small asides from that really really good case for the price.

I was trying to find nice, qood-class, ATX format, USB 3.0 support, blue iluminated PC case. And this Spike by Cougar is excellent. Perfect workmanship, click mechanism for HDD and DVD drive, spacious, quiet addtional rear FAN, blue LED integrated into buttons Power and Restart, from USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port and audio connectors.Recommend it.

This case is very interesting. The price is outstanding, as 30 quid for a case is really good. The downside is that only mATX motherboards fit in it, and it is not that roomy inside for cables, there is little cable management, but it will fit long GPUs like a GTX 770.The big disadvantage is that is the materials of the case. The plastics are quite cheap, and when I pulled the the screwless latches, the plastic broke of, which is annoying but not a big deal. Considering the price, the case is excellent, and I am happy with it so far.Recommend this case to anyone on a budget and want a simple, honest case that is practical, but has little aesthetic features.

Everything was perfect but if you want to buy a case buy a different one.
