Best I’ve ever tried!
I’ve always fancied treating myself to some of these pencils but they’re so expensive so when I saw this small entry level pack at an affordable price I thought I’d give it a go. I have to say these are highly pigmented pencils with the most vibrant colour. They sharpen well which is so important and they blend well too. They great quality and worth trying for anyone who loves to draw and colour. Having tried them I’ll probably stick to them. Best I’ve ever tried.

Quality pencil
Bought as a gift so not sure what they are like to work with but the presentation is good and they look good quality

Vibrant colors for young kids.
Best pencil crayons we have used so far. Great for little hands, vibrant colors and doesn’t break. Also easy to sharpen. Bit pricey but kids appreciate the color. We use a mix of these and also the cheaper coloring pencils to balance costs. We probably need to restock every 4 months in this way.

fast delivery, rich palette of colors (60), some minor issues
Those pencils were delivered to me very quickly, which is great! Overall, I would say that those pencils are very soft and pleasant to draw with. The color palette is rich and the price is fine, comparing to prismacolor premier pencils. I haven't tried the premier ones, but I'm guessing they are similar quality, but the packaging and richness of the pigment are different. But I would like to say, that two pensils don't match with the color on the paper. I don't blame the seller for that issue, but I'm also surprised that dark "violet" color looks very pale. Or that "permanent green" turned out to be very different. If you would like a cheap alternative to prismacolor premier pencils then it could be an option for you.

Pros outweigh cons for me
Excellent soft application for shading really love these pencils however the wood casing doesn't seem that great the lead seems to break if I awas ply to much pressure and as other views stated the lead often falls out after sharpening. However and this is a big however these are amazing value and despite a few malfunctions I do not regret buying them

Great value - no need to buy the premium range
It was a choice between these or the premium range, and I honestly won't bother with the premium range again. The quality is excellent, these pencils blends beautifully, the colours are strong and clear, and they're lovely to use. Great value for money.

Great set of Prisma color pencils
They are great for the price. Cheaper than Prismacolor premier pencils, slightly harder. But still very good to use

Comparison of four brands
I need a set of 12 colored pencils for marking text. I specifically need pencils that mark easily with not having to press down hard and I also need good contrast between the colors. It was challenging to see a noticeable difference between the light & dark blues and between the light and dark greens. It was almost impossible to get a set of 12 that one of the colors wasn’t white, which is useless for my purposes. That being said, I purchased one set each of Sargent, Prismacolor, Prang and Cra-z-art and compared them. Here are my results. Prisma was probably the best quality and had excellent contrast between the two blues and between the two greens. They marked easily with very little pressure and the range of colors was great. However, for my purposes, I really needed a pink. Prisma had peach or flesh-tone instead that is not pink enough for my needs. I didn’t choose Prisma for that one reason alone. If my purpose was different, it may have been my first choice. The one I chose was Cra-z-art. There was very good contrast between the two blues and between the two greens, plus it had a very pretty shade of pink. It was the only set that didn’t contain white. Instead, there are two reds with good contrast between them as well. They also marked easily with very little pressure. Prang was very similar to the Cra-z-art and was my second choice. The reason it was not number one was because the pink was not as bold as the Cra-z-art and it contained white. Sargent had the best pink. However, it was the hardest of the four and needed more pressure to mark. Also, there was not much contrast between the two blues and between the two greens.

Gute Buntstifte.
Gute Buntstifte in der erklärten Schulkategorie. Mäßig weich und gut pigmentiert. Sie sind sehr gut für Hobbys. Der einzige Nachteil ist der unangenehme Geruch.
