Initial thoughts are very positive. Received the item very quickly (within 3 days) and first impression of the gun are very good. During prolonged use you can lock the gun to save having to continually press on the trigger and with the screw adjustment you can set the flow. Unlike some pistols that have set spray patterns you can vary from mist to maximum force by any degree by turning the nozzle. Another plus is the fact that the water flow is stopped when you release the trigger so you don't have to turn off at the tap. The gun comes with 3 spare washers.I bought the gun off Amazon with a big discount offer whether I would have bought at full price I'm not sure.The 5th star will come after I have used the gun for a little while and hopefully experience no problems.

Good construction. Should last well. Connects to standard Hozelock fitments without difficulty and no leaks. The spray settings are somewhat "radial" so you get a fine circular spray but this makes plants fiddly to water if you want to be able to point at a plant without blowing the leaves off. It seems to go round the sides of the pot! Finally, the jet is strong but this is at the expense of absolute flow. Filling a bucket with the attachment wide open takes much longer than with the attachment off.This is a solid item but probably better for car washing than plant watering where adjustability and outright flow count. I paid a tenner for this and this seems a reasonable price. Wouldn't pay more.

Serviceable

Well made and seems to be high quality, but be warned!It MAY NOT fit your hozelock hose end connectors. Mine does not. It seems to connect OK, but when I turn the water on, the hose flies off and I get soaked. The hozelock connector does not *quite* engage fully. Other people don't seem to have this problem (although I am not alone in my experiences) so there seems to be some manufacturing or sample variation. You might get lucky... or not.

Feels like a well made and robust nozzle. Operates perfectly, adjustable spray and the trigger can be locked open. The only drawback is that the connector is not quite long enough to properly open the Aquastop in a Hozelock connector (I removed the internal valve in the connector). Apart from this, it is an excellent nozzle.

The spray nozzle is reassuringly solid. It gives a very useful range of outputs, from fine spray which is good for watering plants; to a powerful jet for cleaning paving. We have only just taken delivery of our spray gun so we can't comment on how well it stands up to use. But we are confident that it will prove durable.

A good solid hose gun, that seems robust and long lasting, but only time will tell. It's a good weight and it's easy to change the nozzle for different spray patterns. It drops a star because the base connector is difficult to connect as the plastic handle protrudes too far down, so it needs some muscle to fully engage.

Bought as a replacement for a Hozelock Pro Metal system that failed in less than a year (plastic parts broke). Pleasantly surprised so far. We have it attached to Hozelock Ultimate pipe using the matching brass connector set and it works well with no leaks. The spray pattern can be adjusted from jet to cone and the trigger locked. Sits well in the hand and is easy to aim. Simple and the better for it.Update: Failed after getting badly iced up.
