It looks like it's made out of recycled materials
I will reserve final judgement until I can compare with other chanters. I had a chanter as a child, and that was certainly easier to play than this piece of plastic. It looks like it's made out of recycled materials. The reed chamber is small, so takes quite a bit of puff to make the right sound. Yes, puff is needed for bagpipes, but learning to play a tune is one thing, learning to fill the bag is another - this chanter offers no compromise. In fact, you're quite likely to blow the chanter out of your mouth, mid-note, rather than play a tune. For breathing it's great - for playing a tune - forget it - five sustained bars in, and that's it! If I'm lucky, I can get the first three bars of Highland Cathedral out of it - then I have to rest, before starting again. If you want to exercise your lungs, then fine, if you want to play a tune, from start to finish - don't bother.

Feels terrific under the fingers
Very well made. Feels terrific under the fingers. Perfectly in tune. Personally I love the shape. Arrived incredibly quickly.

Bad quality.
Says good quality, but it isn't at all.You get what you pay for. Thought being made in Scotland would mean otherwise.
