Didn't think these would make much difference to me getting up the two steps to my front door to be honest. I was wrong. Never thought that something so simple could make so much difference. My husband had no trouble whatsoever fitting these. They do not, however, come with the screws or plugs required to fix them to the wall. Once up they are very sturdy and the fluted/ribbed design makes them very easy to grip. They are brilliant for helping me keep my balance when getting in or out of the house. Would definitely recommend these rails to anyone who needs assistance with stability. They are not an eyesore as some grab rails are, they are easy to clean and can be fitted just about anywhere really. I wish I'd listened to my husband who suggested we buy some much sooner than we did. They've made getting in and out of the house much easier for me.

I HAVE USED A FEW OF THESE AND THEY ARE PERFECT, TWO IN THE SHOWER ONE OVER THE BATH, ONE TO HANG ONTO STEPPING DOWN INTO THE GARAGE, EXCELLENT FOR GRIP EVEN WHEN WET, EASY TO FIT, VERY STRONG.

Good value and very sturdy for my mum who needs to hang onto handrails to get around her place. This one is excellent.

I purchased a few of these to place around the house due to disability. My husband fitted them easily in minutes, they are really sturdy which I need, so I have no worries about pulling on them. The ridges help with grip incase of wet hands. I will be buying more of various sizes because they also look ok in any room. I have mine in the hall, bathroom, living room and kitchen.

unable to use this grab bar in my shower as it is only suitable for solid walls. This should have been emphasised in the sales information and I would not have bought it.My shower has stud walls so could not use it. I have given it to a charity shop as when this problem was realised it was too late to return the item.

As others have said no fixings are included so you will need 6 screws of the right type for your fixing; the holes are plastic so dome-head screws may be worth considering) and if drilling a wall 6 rawlplugs.Easy to fit and seem very sturdy.

It was relatively easy to fix to tiles in bathroom by friend & and has proven its worth during rehabilitation and beyond
