How far apart are the holes please?

If I understand the question: Centre of each hole is 18mm apart; each hole os 9mm diameter

One of the reviewers suggests that you can use only Kreg screws with this - is this true?

An alternative to Kreg is Trend pocket hole screws available from screwfix and amazon.If you use normal screws you may need to use a small washer, to stop the screw pulling through.
