The ST-2 replaces the SN-2, the ST-8 replaces the SN-8, etc. They do still show the originals on their website. However, Snark doesn't show the SN1X, SN5X, or SN6X on their website any longer. I assume they are discontinued. **Q: is this the best choice for a banjo uke?** A: Yes, I believe it would be the best choice. The ST-2 is an all instrument tuner. I hope this was helpful. **Q: Does snark st-2 work with 1/2 cello？** A: Yes, it’s chromatic so it will work. We have found proper placement is key in order for it to register well. Like clipping it to the bridge for example. **Q: Does this work for a double bass?** A: Yes, this will work just fine for a double/upright bass. ## Frequently Bought Together - SNARK ST-2 Chromatic All Instrument Tuner, Rechargeable - WINGO Guitar Capo for Acoustic and Electric Guitars - Rosewood Color with 5 Picks - Amazon Basics Adjustable Folding Guitar Stand, A-shape, Fully Assembled - For School Music Program, Concerts & Multiple Users, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/48452081-st2-clip-on-chromatic-all-instrument-tuner](https://www.desertcart.be/products/48452081-st2-clip-on-chromatic-all-instrument-tuner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
