Giant Fire Breathing Toothless

Overall the product is good and does what is shown in the picture in the box.Attaching the tail to the body requires a screw driver and some work. The instruction manual doesn't say this aspect clearly. Need to remove few screws and then attach it. Need to remember where the small parts came from when disassembling.Pros: The fire effect is pretty good, good size, realistic (rubber-ish) plastic, quality build.Cons: Dragon's eyes are not lit up separately. That's a let off. Doesn't come with the rider as shown in the box's picture.

Bought this for my daughter as a replacement for the first one. The first one stopped working and we couldn't get it to work properly as all, even after googling the problem and following all the suggestions. However, this one was bought and is working well. One thing I will advise is not to use it for too long as the sponge inside the head area which is used to produce the "Steam" will get saturated quite quickly and will reduce the amount of steam produced. If you leave for a while it will work again fine.

A good idea but the toy would be greatly improved if it had a growling dragon sound. The light up mouth and smoke coming out is great but feels there is something missing when there is no sound. To make the smoke come out you have to press the ear at just the right angle and its a bit awkward for children. Unforunately, we had the incorrect instructions in the box. This toy is Toothless and we had the instructions for Stormfly which wasnt helpful when trying to find the battery compartment (these were sealed in the box so a fault of the manufacturer)

I read a lot of reviews about the water compartment not being well thought out but I decided to take the chance as my daughter adores toothless, I must admit ive had no trouble in that department, the only trouble weve had is my daughter runs to me every five minutes because toothless' s tale keep un clipping which is why I gave this a four star rating but I would definitely recommend for big toothless fans

My son loves How to Train your Dragon and asked for this a while ago. I could not find this in the shops so was over the moon to find it on here and cheaper than advertised on shop websites. He loves it - steam comes out the mouth when you push one ear and a blue light shines which shows the steam clearer - if you press the other ear it can shoot a bullet out at the same time as the smoke. Making it a "real dragon" effect. Great

Arrived as expected, thought it was a little expensive for what it was but these are the toys the kids want. Dont overfill with water as it will run out My son loved it.

A few reviews posted about the bullet not firing unless excessive pressure was placed on the ears. We found that at first until we worked out that the projectile has to be aced in the mouth with the notch downwards ( couldn't find ref to this in instructions). It is quite tricky for small fingers to get it in though. So far steam and lights working. A nice toy.

Mu son loves this present, the only problem is that the water vapours cumulate in the mouth and drip out! But this would not effect whether I would purchase the product again!
