Directions Using quick yeast. 1) Combine the flour, salt, sugar add quick yeast. 2) Mix in water bring together into a rough dough. 3) Add the oil and knead well. 4) Dust your work surface with flour, place the dough on top and knead vigorously for a few minutes. 5) Cut, shape & place the dough in oiled tins or on a baking sheet. 6) Cover & leave to rise in a warm place for 25 minutes. 7) Bake in a preheated oven for 25/45 minutes depending on size. Review: Great quality yeast - We use a lot of quick action yeast in our food business, but this is easily the best we've found. It works every time, produces great results and is easy to use. If you are only going to use yeast once a month or less, then I would recommend buying individual sachets as it can deteriorate when left exposed to air. But, if you're going to use or once a week, then the price of this is hard to beat and much, much cheaper than individual sachets.
Review: best yeast i have purchased. - was a bit sceptical as both packs of yeast were rock solid, until i carefully opened one! long use by date is a plus. loaf rose very well and didn't collapse! flavour was very good and the loaf is still soft on the second day. will be using this yeast in my bread maker from now on. 2 packs will last a long time.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the packet recyclable? Any plastic?**
A: If I remember correctly there's only plastic film round the box, sachets are in like a foil pack and probably be recycled as no recycle logo on individual package.

**Q: is it kosher certified?**
A: kosher yeast? Never heard of it. It's good stuff though

**Q: What is the use by date on the packs?**
A: 27.01.2016 But please note that these were purchased several months ago - possibly over 12! We found the use by date was more than sufficient.

**Q: is this product organic?**
A: There is no indication that it is organic, it is manufactured in France, gluten free but contains sorbitan monosterate as an emulsifier. It is excellent yeast for bread making though.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gluten free quick yeast

After a recent diagnosis of coeliac disease in the family we decided to make our own bread. There are several options for gluten free flours but it is very hard to find yeast with no gluten. This Doves Farm Quick Yeast is the only one I have found (there may be others but I've not seen them) and it works very well. We have used it for hand baked bread and in a bread machine with excellent results. Gluten free baking does require some experimentation but this yeast works brilliantly in every experiment. Thanks Doves Farm for a great quality gluten free product.
