The clay is water soluble so once you run it through your hair, you just need to wash your hands quickly. The following morning, if you can't be bothered getting your hair soaked - and losing all the product from your hair, just wet a comb and it's good for a further day. It's good, not bright white, doesn't go clumpy in your hair and it's in a handy tin. I've tried several products in my hair and this is one of the better ones, I used to use Black & White Pluko but that's become ridiculously expensive. This does the trick and your hair does not end up greasy. Review: Works for me and prefer this version - This is my fourth of fifth tin of Dapper Dan and I find it works for me better than just about anything else. My first tin had a 'New Improved' sticker on it and I loved it. Then I got one that must have been the original version that was denser, darker more clay like, but I found you needed more of it and it wouldn't wash out as well. This newer version is more gum like in texture but actually works brilliantly. Easy to shape but then dries quickly and looks very natural. It washes out easily which is super important for me. I also like the fragrance.
