Best Car Phone Holder(stick it on dashboard or windscreen)
I couldn’t get this to stick to my car’s dashboard to save my life. That being said, just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. The reason being the material, flat surface area and design of(how curve) the dashboard varies sufficiently from 1 car to another(of different makes and models). For instance, my car is Toyota RAV4-2017 model. Even if you have the same make: Toyota RAV4, but a different model (ie.2014), it might work depending on the material and total flat surface area of your dashboard. Since the product wouldn’t stick to my dashboard properly, it would fall over as soon as I attach my phone to it. Thus, I had no choice but to return it, and started the return process, which went without a hitch by the way. However, I really like the idea behind this product: the ability to extend the arm both ways(in opposite directions), the clump isn’t loose but not grabbing my iPhone too right either, the arm can be adjusted and tightened with ease to hold the position of your liking via good size screws and etc. In other words, except the fact this won’t stick to my dashboard, it has no other fault(for me/in my opinion) and has everything I want in a car phone holder. So before I packed it for the return, I decided to give one last shot with the research on how to tackle the problem and get it to stick. Fortunately, I came across a review where the author went through the same problems I did and decided to stick it on windscreen instead of the dashboard and said that it worked wonders. I decided to do the same and I’m so glad I did, because now, I have the best car phone holder that ticks all the boxes I’ve been looking for.

Good, but with some frustrations...
I bought this for use in hire cars while on holiday. It's a bit bulky. It's fiddly to get at the sucker lever when the bar is in the way. Unless the bar is sitting right down on the main body of the unit the phone (iphone 6 plus) wobbles up and down a bit. However, it holds the phone securely without fear of it coming out of the grippers, nothing in the way to impede the charging cable, it sticks well and securely to all surfaces I've tried it on, I've applied it and taken it off many times and it still sticks and holds well when reapplied and the flexibility of positioning is great.

A good quality windscreen mount
A good quality car windscreen mount with an effective sticky sucker cup that has stayed put in the recent hot weather.Stuff to be aware of -Because this mount holds your phone at two points rather than at four points it may wobble a little if you are mounting a really big phone. My iphone 5s being small is fine in this mount. The clamp mechanism is softly sprung loaded rather than a ratchet mechanism like some other mounts use.You need to be gentle putting your phone on to the mount.I am happy with this mount and I expect it will last longer than my previous one where the ratchet mechanism broke.

This one works!
This is great and works on my Honda Jazz dashboard.ts only got 4 stars because it took a couple of failed attempts before I found the lever which needs to be pushed down to ensure a good seal. It is located under the arm and isn’t very obvious. However I have used it for four days now, over bumpy road and two very long journeys and it has held my Iphone7 Plus very well. I use my phone as a sat nav so a stand is essential, and the previous holder I ordered turned out to be useless.

A thicker screw could be the answer
I should say a well made product but after two small journey's my iPhone and the holding clamp fell off, on examination it looked as if the holding screw was on the small size, I tried to take it apart and in doing so a part of the female socket broke, can I purchase a female part of this socket if so I would be happy to put it together. I would like to use again,I like the look of it and I am sure it would beright for the job.

OK, but not good enough
I've been using it for a few months now.The device is just not sturdy enough: the knob to extend it doesn't close properly so the extension arm can be pushed back. In addition, the suction cup part is a bit loose. It sticks to the glass correctly, but the whole piece can be twisted and rotated a bit, resulting an 1-2cm of movement on on the phone side.Do not buy

The product is good. Not annoyed or disappointed with it
The product is good. Not annoyed or disappointed with it.The sucker cup is good.It easily holds an iPhone 6s Plus. However, I have tightened the joints as tight as possible but they still move ever so slightly, so would be better if the tightening nuts were larger or had a lever to enable the required tightness.I have it off the windscreen and just allow the bottom of the phone to rest on the dashboard which solves the problem.Still glad I bought it.

Has a good grip on phone ( Oneplus 5 ) even though ...
Has a good grip on phone ( Oneplus 5 ) even though the phone is quite slippery.I have it attached to the windscreen as I do not have enough space to mount it on the dashboard. So far it has held well, although there is a small amount of wobble from the arm when going over bumps, this is because I have to use it upside down, however this would not occur if I could mount it on the dashboard as the base would support the arm.
