When it is best to use?** A: What works for me is all I can say, I have thick wavy/curly hair, as usual it’s dry and prone to frizz, so after washing and gentle towel dry off excess water, I use 4 pumps of this product in my hand, rub my palms together and then smooth over down to the ends of my hair. Sometimes I then let it air dry, or slow speed warm air dryer and scrunch. Then next day or two, I use 2 pumps of this and smooth over dry hair to keep the frizz down. Works for me. I’ve hated my curly hair all my life, this product has helped me embrace it a little. **Q: Does this weigh the hair down?** A: I wondered the same but no it doesn't at all. It has the same gorgeous smell as Moroccan oil but it helps to dry natural curls without the frizz. I still use the normal one when I'm going to straighten my hair but always use this if I want natural curls. Hope this helps. **Q: Why under product details does it say 1 A batteries required?
