No Hitting, Henry

Fab book really helpful for little ones

My constantly learning toddler kept getting frustrated as he is a lockdown baby somethings like talking were taking him a little longer to grasp, which resulted in him lashing out and hitting his dad and me. I tried numerous things to stop the behaviour at no prevail. I bought this book as an out of the box idea as he loves reading we read it everyday and discussed Henry’s choices and how he could make better choices as in the book.After reading this to my toddler his behaviour has improved so much (in regard to lashing out) I have only had to remind him twice to make the “right choices like Henry” For us this really worked and is still working now.It has Nice illustrations, a great message, easy reading and an important message x

Very clear and concise in message- so effective with my 2 yr old

There is a different scenario on each page and the child has to chose the right action, though the book encourages you to talk about the other actions to.Its all part of a rather long journey, but has helped and I'm buying another in the series.

Amazing book - our 4 year old thinks these books are brilliant and we can see his behaviour changing and he himself even refers back to the book when needed. He took it in to pre-school to show everyone and they were impressed and will be buying them too!

Fantastic book , really makes kids think about their actions and choose the right thing to do. I have purchased most of the books to teach my son how to deal with anger and upset. It worked a treat .

Great book to read with our granddaughter going through phase

Great book for encouraging good choices. Read it to my class of 3 year olds and they loved the fact it was a really interactive story

This book gives choices for each situation. It's a great book my 3 and 5 year olds love reading it.

Excellent book. My son loved the scenarios and it’s great in real life scenarios to tie it back to what Henry would do.

Lo compré cuando teníamos algún problemillo con pegar en el cole y a mi hija de 4 años le encantó el cuento. Habla todavía de Henry y que tiene que hacer o no cuando se enfada. Un acierto.

A little wordy and busy on the pages but my autistic son enjoyed the questiosn and answers on each page.

I didn’t like how the multiple choice options gave extra bad ideas to my son. He’s 4 but didn’t understand the multiple choice concept and it felt like I was just reading misbehaving ideas off to him.
