All the older reviews answered 'no' but I brought this a few weeks ago and it definitely has flakey bits that fly around everywhere! It's so annoying. **Q: What is the black seed? My pigeons tend to go for those first?** A: I can't be too sure what the black seed is, but it very much like dried sunflower seed. In my experience, this is the least of the problems with this brand, it is the very small round seed which the birds reject, and it this which seems to make up the bulk of this brand.
