The bypass blade on these shears are great for getting clean, sharp cuts, unlike my old anvil pruners which tended to crush everything. Means these are fabulous for all types of pruning be it soft or hard material (especially roses) as they achieve that nice crisp cut with very little effort. Locking lever is easy to use whilst wearing thick gloves. Most importantly the lever hasn’t accidentally moved and locked the shears during use, something some shears are prone to doing. Only time will tell if the lever loosens up. Was surprised to see it came with a spare spring. Nice touch given I have thrown away a few shears because the spring got lost. Would highly recommend them to anyone. I had a returned email** A: Yes, I followed the instructions and received an email stating that I have Lifetime Warranty Confirmation which I have printed off and will keep in my potting shed.
