You can connect each 'cut' strip with thin cable, either by using the small connectors that are available or by carefully soldering small gauge cable (red & black, available from Halfords) between the copper connectors on the ends of the 'cut' strip. When placing your order it should inform you what, if any, connectors are included. **Q: Can I use it with Google Assistance?** A: Hi John Lampitt Adey, Thanks for your question. The answer is no. This is a normal warm white led strip, if you are looking for smart led strip that works with google assistant, please take a look at https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07P9PX83B Any other question or concern, please let us know anytime, cheers. **Q: Where about on the strip can one cut it? I cut the last ones and they now don't work.** A: Every few centimetres you can see a pair of tiny copper contacts on a marked line. This line shows a pair of scissors Cut on the line to leave the same size copper dots on each end. Note that there are also marks to show positive and negative sides **Q: Are you sure these are 1.6cm width? i'm looking at connectors which fit 8mm 3528 leds???** A: I totally agree with the answer from Yon Bobbin. The total width of the connector, including it's plastic surround is 1.3cm. The actual connector pins are 8mm across in width to fit onto the LED strip ## Frequently Bought Together - Lepro 12V LED Strip Light, Flexible, SMD 2835, 16.4ft Tape Light for Home, Kitchen, Party, Christmas and More, Non-Waterproof, Warm White(Not Include Power Adapter) - Biantie La 2-Pin 8mm LED Connectors Solderless Unwired Clips - DIY Strip to Wire Quick Connection for 12v 24v Single Color SMD 3528 2835 Tape Lights (Pack of 10) - LightingWill 10pcs Pack Strip Wire Solderless Snap Down 2Pin Conductor LED Strip Connector for 8mm Wide 3528 2835 Single Color Flex LED Strips --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/48359930-lepro-12v-led-strip-light-5m-no-plug-3000k-warm](https://www.desertcart.be/products/48359930-lepro-12v-led-strip-light-5m-no-plug-3000k-warm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
