Catches fish
Great trout bait for any time of the year. What can I say, these produce bites when trout fishing. Hook it thru the round head and cast it out in river, creek, lake, etc....

great product
great for fishing trout, the colors very when to use them , pick one to start fish and see thats all i can say? i usually use the mouse tail with powerbait , the tail is a tail on the end of the hook to make the trout bite for you to catch fish,

Trout love 'em
Best fished on a quality fine wire hook - mosquito or circle. Personally, I favor hooking thtough the head and threading a short section of the tail - then pull the head over the eye and up the line a mm or so. This allows the mouse-tail to be fished on a very small drilled lead with a stopper. Our lake rainbows run 2 - 3 pounds and lurk on the bottom in 12 - 25 feet. Fish the tails on drop and raise back to the boat gets a lot of fish. We get good results on power bait nuggets also - but the mice-tails get better lip hook ratios and less damaged fish for catch and release.

I thought a larger quantity and size would come, I was surprised by the sizeXquantityXpriceI think they would have better products available.CONCLUSIONFor my use it didn't work for me, I don't know if for others in a specific use it can be useful. in my case I didn't like it, I think I could find something better. In the pictures and product demos, it looked amazing compared to what I actually got.

Works great.
I set mine up about 2.5ft below a foam bobber and a small split shot about 1ft above the mouse tail. I ran the hook through the egg part starting where the egg joins the tail. Cast it out it the 3 to 4ft deep stream and let it drift. Second cast I caught a small rainbow. Third cast I caught a tree and lost my rig. I forgot to put more hooks in my bag so I switch to a trout magnet for the rest of the day but I have no doubt I would have caught many more on the mouse tail. Can't wait to get out again and fish these some more.Update: Got out fishing today for an hour and tried the Chartreuse/Orange color mouse tail. I caught one trout after about 5 casts. That was it for today. No one else was catching anything so I figure catching one is pretty good.
