Nicely made but not very fast. I benchmarked a Lexar 2000x using Blackmagic Disk Speed and it yielded 60 MB/s write / 73 MB/s read.Using the SD reader that came with the Lexar card and an Apple USB-C>USB adaptor, I got 179MB/s write / 252 MB/s. So this card reader isn't much above USB 2 specification.

This is a great SD reader. Just what I needed for my new 2017 MacBook Pro.

I bought this to use with a Google Pixelbook and can confirm that it works as expected. It feels good quality and well built for the price.Note that some USB-C card readers at a similar price point are a slower USB standard.I like having the short cable between the plug and reader because I feel that with a one-piece integrated design there's a risk of pressing on the reader and damaging the port, especially if using on your knee rather than a table.

Great little gadget. Connects to One plus 5 mobile, just remember to turn on OTG in settings. Fast file transfer of pictures from sdhc card. Good quality, nicely made and finished. Delivered quickly, recommend to any one.

What is a well made device, I've had no problems with it, always connects to my Google Pixel XL so I can play Back videos from my helmet cam. I do recommend an app called MX Player for playing back the files

Bought this item after my previous ones from amazon suddenly stopped working. Unfortunately its the same story with this one, worked fine for first use, After that it will no longer be recognised by my MacBook Pro.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Well made and looks good. Very good price.
