DigiPads are available for all Digital SLR cameras. Each DigiPad is precision made in a clean room enviroment and individually vacuum sealed for a guaranteed contamination free cleaning pad. They are complete with step by step instructions. Digipad were the first company to offer different size sensor cleaning solutions. We have been supplying these pads worldwide now for over 7 years. We have supplied to both retail, wholesale and camera service centres and and have always received very positive feedback from both professional and amateur photographers with some great write ups on forums and magazines. If you are unsure if your camera's sensor needs cleaning a simple test is to take a photo of a white background or fairly bright sky with a small aperture i.e f22 and then study the results on your PC by zooming in to around 300 % and looking around the image for black spots. If you see any it's very likely there is dust on your sensor and it may require cleaning. Please see our feedback and reviews which shows how satisfied our customers are.

A good cleaning kit
This kit arrived today and was sent by Registered Post for some reason.Although the bottle is only half filled with cleaning fluid, this is plenty for use with the 10 sticks/swabs supplied.I've used one swab to successfully remove 5 black sticky spots from the sensor in my Pentax K30.There are quite a few bad reviews for this kit, so I think it may depend upon your skill level and maybe a bit of common sense. Cleaning your camera sensor is a delicate operation, and not everyone has the dexterity required to work with small, sensitive components. But if you feel happy to try this, make sure you follow the instructions included with the kit to-the-letter.This kit should only be used for dirt that is stuck on the sensor. So before using the kit you should try the following:-1. if the camera has an in-built "Dust Removal" mode, try this first,2. then use a "puffer" to try to blow away dust and fine threads or hairs,3. then use a fine lens cleaning brush if the first 2 steps are not successful. If the dirt is removed (or even just moved from one area of the sensor to another) then you don't need to use this kit. You can use the 3 dry-cleaning methods above. Each time you use a swab (as directed in the kit instructions) be prepared to go through the 3 dry-cleaning methods again if you still see dirt or maybe small threads deposited by the swab itself. There is no point in using a second swab to chase threads deposited by the first swab.

Not bad but not a perfect job
The product appears to be reasonably good quality, all the pads are individually sealed and there's plenty of the cleaning fluid. The sensor on my mirrorless camera was very dirty, with dust and a couple of fine hairs. Interchangeable lenses and a mirrorless system seems to be a recipe for dirty sensors, but that's another story. The first cleaning pad did a decent enough job of removing most of the visible crud. I applied a second pad to try to finish the job, it improved things a bit further, but a test shot showed that more than a few specks of dust remained. (In case you don't know, it's easy to check for dust by taking an out-of-focus picture of a clear sky at a narrow aperture - the dust particles show up clearly when you zoom in on the shot). So this product has improved things greatly, but not got the sensor back to pristine condition.Delivery time wasn't a big issue for me, but the pads took over a week to arrive, coming after the estimated delivery window.

Swabs & Fluid excellent, packaging not so good.
I bought this kit to clean the sensor of my Canon 40D. I have a rocket-type air blower and a sensor brush which I use to rid the sensor of any minor dust, but they were proving ineffective on persistent dust spots.I had never cleaned a camera sensor in this way before, but following the supplied instructions was easy. It took 4 swabs to remove all of the dust to my satisfaction, but I don't think I used enough pressure with the first swab, being quite apprehensive about touching the sensor at all.The only quibble I have with this kit is with the bottle containing the fluid, it seems to be made of a very flimsy plastic. Some of the fluid had already leaked out in transit. The dropper part didn't fit the neck of the bottle correctly, with the result that when the bottle was tilted in order to apply the '2 or 3 drops' of fluid (as per the instructions) to the swab, the fluid leaked out of the sides of the faulty stopper. This meant that cleaning solution ran all over my fingers and onto the work surface, which made it very difficult to measure accurately how many drops actually hit the swab. The sensor was spotless after treatment, so I was satisfied that the kit works. But it may be worth doing what I intend to do the next time I clean the sensor, which is invest in some Eclipse fluid (which I understand comes in a much more robust container) and buy these excellent swabs separately.

Used on Sony FS700
Well chuffed with this product. I own a Sony FS700 which is a very expensive bit of kit (we are talking about several thousands of pounds). I reluctantly tried cleaning my sensor with some cheap swabs off ebay as I was desperate. These swabs were drenched in some kind of fluid that may have been the same fluid as this kit, difference being, that the swabs were heavily covered in it. Anyway, after cleaning the sensor with my ebay swabs they left heavy dried blobs (severe watermarks). I decided to rub a lens cloth on the sensor to get rid of it but it didn't, it looked worse and caused severe streaks that looked like permanent scratches! as you can imagine I had a panic attack at this point as I thought I had damaged my sensor. Went on Amazon and found this kit and purchased it based on reviews. THANK GOD that I did. The key is, you need to use a few drops of fluid on the swabs for MAXIMUM cleaning. The main thing I should state is PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED. Swipe the swab in one direction, then back again in the other with about 2-3 drops of fluid applied to the tip of the swab. If you don't you will leave water marks and lint off the swab will remain on the sensor whereby you will need to use another swab until you do it right. I ended up using 5 swabs out of the 10 supplied to get my Super 35mm sensor cleaned back to pretty much new. I still have 5 swabs left for I would say another 2 cleans at least now that I know how to do it properly. Not bad at all for £12.50 delivered considering independent camera shops would ask for a minimum of £50 for a SINGLE clean ... let's not even talk about the prices Main dealers/manufacturers would charge.
