Lovely product, so pleased I bought it.
(Mr S's wife's review) I don't often write reviews, but I've been so pleased with this oil I felt I should. I was experiencing blotchy, dry and dull toned skin due to hormonal changes with the peri-menopause, to the point where I felt I was looking rough & my makeup wasn't hiding it anymore. My hands were also looking older due to gardening & washing up without gloves for a while. I wanted to move away from wearing foundation/makeup every day, to give my skin a break but felt self conscious due to the condition of my skin. I haven't used Rosehip oil before, but had read it could be helpful. I was only expecting it to help moisturize my skin more than anything so I've been genuinely surprised at the difference it's made to the look & feel of my skin. I did a 24hr test patch first as my skin can be sensitive to various things but I was fine, so started using it on my face, neck & hands. The oil colour is slightly tinted orange, on me it just gives a lovely healthy, sun kissed glow to my skin that I haven't had in years. I use it twice a day, morning & before bed, after washing my face. I now find I can get away with wearing little to no make up & my face/body skin feels so soft. I agree with others in that there is a slight (almost fishy) scent, I can't describe it, it's not horrid, just not pleasantly floral/perfumed like a lot of creams. I find the scent is mild & disappears once applied - I'm quite sensitive to scents/smells, but feel I can cope with it as it goes quickly & the results have been excellent. If you have longer and/or fine hair I would recommend tying it back, away from the face when applying - like any oil it can make your hair greasy if it touches the hairline & a little really does go a long way, as I found out! I would definitely recommend & will be buying it regularly from now on as a staple.

better than some top face creams
I have been using this Rosehip oil for nearly 6 months now, and think it's excellent! After 20 odd years of using commercial face creams (usually something from L'Oreal at around 15-20 euros a pot) with no apparent benefit, this oil has actaully reduced lines around my eyes and crows feet or smile lines. Even my husband noticed so it must be fairly significant! I am also using it along with my favourite Palmers cocoa butter on my tummy during my pregnancy (7 months into my 2nd baby) and so far (fingers crossed etc) no stretchmarks....!!The oil itself is reassuringly thick and deep orange in colour. This is the sign of a good quality rosehip oil. It smells a bit toasty, although this soon fades. The oil sinks into the skin quite quickly and I find I can apply make up after just a couple of minutes. I also love that my skin does not get congested if I 'overload' by mistake, like it used to if I put too much commercial cream on.I use a little plastic applicator bottle with a spout cap (bought from Fushi too) as the neck on the original glass bottle is a little wide for pouring out a small quantity. This is a small compromise.Delivery (to Spain) was not too expensive and fairly quick, the packaging was very good and all in all I will continue to buy this fab product! I'm not wasting my money on 'fake' face creams full of god know's what ever again! PLEASE KEEP STOCKING IT ON AMAZON!!!

rosehip oil for skin
The oil has a perfect consistency, neither too thick nor too thin, with a yellowish-orange hue and a mild nutty smell. It comes in a tinted glass bottle, which helps protect it from sunlight. The bottle contains 100 ml and it lasts quite a long time though it is slightly on the pricey side.I’ve been applying it directly to my face at night, and it does moisturise my skin without making it greasy. Since I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, it’s too early to determine its anti-ageing benefits, but so far, it hasn’t caused any breakouts on my skin. It can be also be mixed with other oils to create your own blend. I am glad that the package arrived unbroken. However, there is no pump or dropper, so you have to be careful when getting the oil out of he bottle.Overall, it's a good oil for skin, moisturises well without making skin greasy. Highly recommended!

Moisturing for the face, absorbs well. Far superior to Trilogy rosehip seed oil
Very good quality and great value for money.I've been using this in the day on my face for three days now and really like it. I discovered rosehip seed oil a few years ago and have been using the Trilogy version up until I tried this Fushi one. I will definitely not go back. After one application can tell it's much, much better quality that the Trilogy's rosehip seed oil.I now think Trilogy used to be good but quality has since gone downhill. I have normal/ dry skin but my face has been feeling super dry for ages now. I found myself using at least triple the normal amount of Trilogy rosehip seed oil just for my face to feel less taunt. Sometimes even slathering on a cream based moisturiser after using the oil. Which shouldn't really be necessary, especially in these warmer months. But because Trilogy had worked well for me in the years before I never assumed the quality of the oil might be compromised and put the dry skin down to the elements etc..I've since compared fushi's rosehip to Trilogy's and that was enough for me to decide to throw the remainder or my Trilogy supply out. I've realized the Trilogy version is lower quality as its thin, doesn't smell much of anything and a lot lighter in colour. Fushi's oil is thicker but not to dense, absorbs better into the skin and more moisturizing. It also has a rich orangey red colour while Trilogy is part transparent and light orange in colour. It'sI've been using the Trilogy version for years but Fushi rosehip seed oil surpasses that brand by a long shot. Will defo buy this one again.
