Grow Algae for Profit: How to Build a Photobioreactor for Growing Algae for Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrates, Anti-Oxidants, Biofuels, Biodiesel, and Other Valuable Metabolites

Painful book. It is written in strange broken English and appears to be a sales promotion booklet for equipment in which to grow algae. This equipment is described on virtually every page but it is the same description over and over again, there is virtually no other practical information on growing algae in the book, I learnt pretty much nothing by reading the book.

Interesting introduction to the algae growing business, but some major flaws that could make for a better book. First are typos. Too many to list, and though I personally am not too bothered by them as long as I know what is meant, it does undermine the quality of the book. Secondly this book would benefit from having diagrams. There is the occasional photo, but little to illustrate the text. Otherwise worth reading if you are taking an interest in this subject.

Disappointed with how disjointed and unintelligible at times, the text is in this book. It really does provide the minimum information to get started and the fact that it has been automated in production of a hardcopy, leaves me thinking that an eBook version might be even harder to make sense of.Book would benefit from someone at the printing house actually reading and checking this, which clearly hasn't happened. It shouldn't take them too long as it is a very short book - much less content than expected.

Interesting first read on the subject, some good how to but very brief. Probably benefit from more images and diagrammatical accompaniment. 2.5 out of 5

Schlechtes Buch; Wenig Informationen, keine genauen Anleitungen, viele Repetitionen. Keine Wissenschaflich fundierte Resultate/Anweisungen/Facts. Qualität des Buches rel. Tief. Zudem hat das Buch nur ca. 40 Seiten und ist gross geschrieben. Wenig Inhalt.

This book was cheap so my expectations were low. I learned one or two facets but would have learned more on google. Don't buy just read online. The whole book was a pitch to buy their kits and the English was borderline unbearable.
