Review: Incredible value, reliable performance, and eco-friendly - highly recommended! - I'm very impressed with these desertcart Basics AAA rechargeable batteries. At under £6 for an 8-pack, they offer incredible value and are an economically smart choice for heavy battery users. They come pre-charged, which is a great bonus. I only needed to top them up slightly before the first use, which is a minor detail rather than a drawback. Beyond the long-term cost savings compared to disposable batteries, they are also a much more environmentally friendly option. These batteries are reliable, recharge quickly, and hold a charge for a long time. While you need a separate charger, they work perfectly with the one I’ve owned for years. They are excellent for devices like TV remotes and are a dependable, long-term choice. I have also owned a older set of desertcart Basics rechargeable batteries for a few years, and they have held up well and remain in use. I know they are high-quality batteries, and I am happy to continue using them. I highly recommend this product. It's best to get the full use out of the battery before recharging it. When it's almost run down charge it don't leave them uncharged for a long time that is the worst thing you can do with any rechargeable battery. If you half charge a battery your charging it many more times than needed to get the full use. Charge it use it charge it. Almost every thing I use rechargeable batteries I have two sets one in use one charging. I also number my batteries in sets for what I use them in so two batteries in one hand set will be 4 batteries a1 a1 b2 b2 each battey is charged at the same time. One set used one charging. Had my batteries for years and always get the longest use out of them before having to charge them again. Having two sets also means no down time as you always have a new freshly charged set ready to use. **Q: Can you use them for solar powered units** A: If you mean to place into Solar Garden Lights I do not see why not as I do use them on my own garden lighting.. **Q: 1.5 volts or 1.2 volts ?** A: 1.2 volts **Q: To buyers in october/november - are they labelled made in japan? or china? what size battery did you get? how many in the pack? thanks in advance** A: Answering in March / April 2020 in case it matters. These are made in China with a date of Nov 2019. AAA 800mAh (16-Pack), came in four packs of four (shrink-wrapped). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible value, reliable performance, and eco-friendly - highly recommended! *by G***T on 8 August 2026* I'm very impressed with these Amazon Basics AAA rechargeable batteries.
