5' X 8' Natural Step(TM) 1/4" Thick Non Slip Rug Pad - Safe for all floors

The pad is nice & thick as I hoped it would be but my only problem is it's very slippery. I was hoping I would not have a problem with that as you did mentioned in your ad that it has nothing to help it grip. All in all I love it & I look forward to having it for a long time.

Put this felt rug pad under my daughter's rug in her nursery. Wasn't too difficult to cut to size. This felt pad does not have any grip so on our hardwood floors it would slip/move and was dangerous. I fixed the slipping/moving by placing a rug grip underneath the felt pad. I wish one of the sides had a grip which would make things easier but my solution worked just fine.

I like the pads alot. Very comfortable to walk on. Thick enough to be comfortable, but not so thick enough to be an obstrution.Came very promptly.I am seeing lots of products that are meant to be cut (wrapping paper, shelf paper), and have a grid printed on the back. I would love it if this product had this feature.My issues are more with Amazon - it would have been nice if there was a button for going to different size pads. Also, I never got the option to have the pads cut to size. Some reviews mentioioned that the seller did this for them, but it is not cear to me how they got the service.Note: If you are going to cut to size - it takes some effort. I used a utility knife and a pair of heavy sissors - and it was work. You could probably do it more easily with just a utility knife if you had a surface you could cut into.When you are cutting, cut on the coated side. If you cut on the soft side the wool sheds.Have your vacume cleaner out. Cutting the pads leaves some wool dust.

I bought this pad to use under an area rug on hard wood floor. Unfortunately, rug still slides around. I am very disappointed. Yes, it's nice and thickly padded bu that wasn't my reason for purchasing it. I had to cut it to fit (not easy!) so now I cannot even return it.

I was looking for felt rug pads to replace the rubbery waffle ones that are leaving marks/residue on my floors. As they advertise, the pad is NOT non-slip, however I found that I don't always need a non-slip rug depending on the size of the rug and where I place it. I have hardwood floors and tried this under a 5x8 wool rug to protect both the rug and my floors and to give a little added cushion. Feels really nice under the rug without being too bulky. I custom ordered the pad to be 57" x 93" (1-1/2" shorter per side) and it fit perfectly. Really easy to request a custom size - just email seller after purchase. They got back to me quickly. There was a little bit of a chemical smell when I first opened the package but I realized quickly that the smell was just from the plastic wrapping. I put the plastic out in the garbage right away and haven't had any funny smell ever since. Am purchasing two more pads for my other two wool rugs.

I have found this to be rather slippery on hardwood floors. I've purchased a "Premium Grip Rug Pad for Hard Surfaces" for another rug of the same size, and that rug pad provides more cushion and doesn't slip for only about $12 more.

I bought this to go under a new area rug for my living room that is on a hardwood floor. It does a great job. It's nice and thick and doesn't come apart on the edges like some do. It is really easy to trim to size if you need to. I play on the floor with my dogs a lot and this gives a nice cushioning to the rug, makes it feel really plush. It will slide a little on the hardwood, but I anchored it under furniture and it does just fine. Rug pads will lengthen the life of your rugs, so it's a good idea to get one. I researched around and found this one to be both high quality, reasonably priced and 100% recycled felt so you can't do better than that.

This item works well for my white shag rugs on a wood floor. I needed an 8x15 pad to anchor my 3 5x8 rugs. the 8x10 and the 5x8 pad alongside each other does the job very economically. Delivery was as promised as was the quality of the product.
