I bought this for my partner before she was due to drop. It took her a while to get used to it, whilst at the same time building up the confidence to breast feed in public, but now it's a permanent attachment on the pram or in the changing bag, and is roughly the size of an umbrella when in the carry case. This has helped with building confidence, whilst at the same time making it easier, rather than having to carry bottles of milk, ice packs and cool bags etc etc all day, especially for longer outings.When it's on, there is plenty of room underneath, and my partner can see what's going on, and the baby has plenty of room to move, but it's also tight enough that you can't see anything (I'm usually stood close and haven't seen anything), although in windy conditions I have had to help hold it down whilst the baby is getting positioned.I would definitely recommend this as a a confidence booster to any woman / couple who are wanting to breastfeed. And for anyone who's nervous about breastfeeding - find somewhere quiet, and just get the first one over and done with, and you'll see that doing it in public is nothing to be worried about.

The fabric of this cover is probably as lightweight as it can be without being flimsy, but it does get very warm under there while feeding. I chose this cover because I like the pattern, and I'm really pleased with it. I'd have given it 5 stars if only the strap that goes around my back had a clip to release it at the side; as the strap is fixed the cover has to be lifted over my head to be removed which I find quite awkward. Getting it on is no problem, getting it off is a bit of a pain. Apart from that, no complaints.

It has a nice print on it, easy to put on. Large enough to comfortably cover while breast feeding, though it gets quiet hot under, so not so great when it is really warm. Only used it as a breast feeding cover. Unfortunately lost it, so didn't get a chance to try it as a sunshade, but I suspect it would make the buggy really hot for the baby as it wouldn't let the air flow.

I love this scarf-i finally have the confidence to feed my 6 week old baby in public for thw first time with this scarf. The only reason i didnt give it a 5 is because it is soo big and can get quite hot under the fabric when mum looks at baby. Otherwise it is so convenient and comes with a little pouch so rolls up to a nicw size and can be popped in the changing bag out the way. Definitely recommend.

Lovely item to use out and about. Generous amount of material and elastic band goes around your waist and stops anything being seen from the sides also if this bothers u. It folds up in a nice little bag that makes it convenient and squashable for ur changing bag. The little bone inside the neckline makes it's fab for being able to still see if your baby is attaching right. Baby doesn't like the scarf so much so I need to make sure it's not covering her face which is easy due to the neck bone that makes it fan out around baby. Good for wiping any spittle if u have nothing handy or can't reach a muslin cloth. Great in washing machine too.

I initially just used a muslin as a nursing cover which worked fine until baby started grabbing everything and being nosey causing me to regularly flash!! Feeding in public is so much less stressful for me now as no chance of baby exposing me.Only negatives: very thick material makes it quite hot and sweaty under there for baby.Clearly not an actual 'Udder Covers' product so really should not be advertised as one. Apart from that a helpful product at a great price!

Bought this during pregnancy with the intention of having a wonderful normal birth and breezing into breastfeeding. A caesarian and no milk meant I got no use from this but from getting it out of the packet I can say this (from someone who has previously breastfed)...it is soft and lightweight, large enough for privacy but small enough to pack into a changing bag. Would recommend to anyone who has already established breastfeeding.

Best money I ever spent, made breastfeeding in public so much easier. I was using nipple shields and this allowed me to position them first, without any exposure! Used it every day. Got a lot of compliments too, from other mums and health visitors.
